“Superb”

Superb hotel in a converted Monastery. It is within a ten minute walk to the city centre and all restaurants, bars and sites. The hotel restauant is also superb and similarly priced to the restaurants in town.

“Convenient hotel for drivers”

Good location for visiting Segovia, especially if you are coming by car. The hotel is easy to get to, with no narrow streets to negotiate. There is also free parking on site, which is a real bonus. The famous aqueduct starts just outside the hotel and you can follow it all the way to the centre of town, which is about a 5-10 minute walk away. The rooms are modern and comfortable, and the breakfast buffet was quite good.

“Wonderful hotel, wonderful city!”

We didn't know much about Segovia and picked it partly as a matter of convenience. The hotel came from browsing Expedia. The hotel is stunning. The rooms are small but adequate a nd a pleasure to behold. The breakfast was amazing. Although it is about a fifteen-minute walk to the center, it is interesting and pleasant. If I hadn't made reservations that couldn't be changed in another city, we would have stayed longer. Everyone was friendly and helpful. A great place. And free parking is not to be sneezed at.

“Charming, comfortable, easy walk to town center.”

“really nice place in segovia”

hotel is right next to the monastery an uphill walk from the city center. but the people were very friendly, gave my kids a colouring book and pencils. the breakfast was great. the room is really cozy and charming.

“Beautiful Hotel”

Beautiful decor, lovely rooms, very clean and comfortable. We had a gorgeous window seat with massive cushions to sit on whilst sipping a glass of wine - very romantic! The hotel was a little hard to find, even with sat nav, but when we got there the staff were really friendly and helpful, although they only spoke basic English. Breakfast was included in the room, and was lovely, although the dining room was a little bit quiet. I felt I had to whisper to the person next to me whilst talking. The room service and restuarant prices were really high, but there are plenty of great local restaurants within walking distance so that wasn't too much of a problem. I'd definitely use this hotel again when staying in Segovia.

“our best experience”

friendly, efficient, a fully loaded breakfast. Exceptionally helpful reception staff who assisted in obtaining outside help for faulty hire car, and notified us on our return on left mobile telephone. would absolutely return.

away from the noise of the centre of town and a quick walk all the way down to the centre along the acquaduct. next door convent a must to visit, only 2 euros per person.

“excellent hotel in good location”

We had two nights in this hotel, the room was excellent, the staff very helpful and the architecture and room fittings high quality. The included brakfast was varied and we ate one night in the retaurant whee the quality of the food matched the prices. We would certainly stay there again.

Traveller's tip

Eat in the Plaza Majot only if you want ambiance at the cost of authentic, reasonably priced food.
