“small and no frills, but good for what it is”
Our room was nice and the surrounding property was well kept. But, there was very little to do there. It is not really a resort.
“Best Resort in Sedona”
We noticed that we could not hear any noises from outside. Very well insulated and built. We enjoyed the comfortable beds. The staff could not be more helpful.
“Will definitely go back”
Great location, clean place, friendly staff. Rooms were clean and spacious.
“Great time & great place”
Very convenient to everything. Our room was on the 2nd floor & had a very nice walk-in shower. Very comfy rooms.
“I'll be staying here again!”
The service was outstanding and the room and hotel grounds were even better than it's four star rating! We had heard that "Reds" was the best place to eat in Sedona and were very surprized to find that it was part of the hotel. We were not disappointed! You could cut the steaks with a fork and they melted in your mouth!
“Quality and comfort”
We had a wonderful stay at the Sedona Rouge in West Sedona and would go back in a heartbeat. The room was well appointed and the beds super comfortable. The observation deck is a beautiful place to watch the sun set. We also found the fitness center a great place to work out when we weren't hiking in Sedona. We had a slight problem with our A/C which was promptly resolved. All front lobby associates were extremely helpful and friendly.
“SEDONA JUNE 2011”
Everything about the Hotel was excellent. Good value, clean and very well run. The concierge went above and beyond to book me a Pink Jeep Tour that proved to difficult because the phones were down at the tour company. She exchanged a number of emails to accomplish the booking. Did not use the Spa but the pool area was great and while there were children present they did take over the area as has come to be a common situation at many hotels. The Red restaurant was great as was the bar. Being right next to a Safeway made it convenient for day to day grocery needs and the site proved to be centrally located to all desired attractions. Will definitely stay there again when in Sedona.
“concierge needs to be fired”
The motel is nice and the rooms are very comfortable and clean. However we were placed in a room #101 across from the lobby in the breezeway in which was very noisy. We could also here all the carts rolling over the concrete sidewalks. In fact we could hear people outside just talking. This seems to be common in all motels irregardless of where we stay. We have only found one motel, the Kontiki in Pismo Beach, that is almost sound proof. None of the rooms have a clear view of the hills or rock formations as the pics would lead you to believe. Most rooms face the parking lot, breezeway or side of a hill. The concierge would not help us with any directions or sight seeing recommendations. While checking out the concierge refused to print out our boarding passes. The visit of Sedona and the red rock formations are very “impressive” and made up for this motel's misgivings. This motel is not worth the price we paid. The restaurant is very nice and has good food and friendly staff. I would recommend this restaurant.
“Most affordable 4 start hotel in Sedona”
Very new, very clean. We had spa service and it was very good with the price as well. With the price, this hotel is beyond my expectation. Would recommend to others.
“Really nice hotel in Sedona - just a shame there's no view”
Stayed here for three nights. Good location with good restaurants within walking distance. Good breakfast and reasonably priced. Great happy hour with very reasonably priced wines. We ate dinner one night and were quite impressed. Live music in the lounge on two of the three nights we were their- good choice of easy listening. The room was spacious and clean. It is in a good location for various activities. The weather wasn't that warm when we visited but if it had been, there was one roof top seating area. The only thing was the lack of view from our room - and I'm not sure if any had a spectacular view. However, we didn't let that spoil the overall experience and would happily stay here again
