“High quality Sedona area hotel at a good price”
Las Posadas calls itself a 'luxury bed and breakfast'. That concerned us a bit, because we're really not B and B people. But we were looking for a reasonably priced alternative in Sedona or the Village of Oak Creek. We've stayed in the area many times before, and always end up spending an arm and a leg, or being disappointed in lodging quality. Las Posadas was terrific. The rooms were large and comfortable, the bed was excellent, and breakfasts were adequate (although not as good as some of the reviews indicate on other websites). Don't expect red rock views, but do expect quiet surroundings and nice desert landscaping. Also plan on driving 10-15 minutes for most restaurant and hiking trail options, since Las Posadas is in the Village and not in Sedona itself.
“Los Posadas, Fun Friendly Sedona”
The breakdfast at this hotel was fabulous. The chef created new selections each day and personnaly served us. The hotel which is really more like a condo b&b had friendly staff, was very spacious and the view from our balcony was fabulous. The bathtub was to die for, I actually took pics of it and am calling a contractor to see if I can have a similar setup at home. The balcony had a small bistro table and metal chairs, I would have been more comfortable with padded lounges, but most people seems to be using the patio for late afternoon wine and conversation. A great location on HWY 179 away from the crowded downtown 89A places and very near the bell rock hiking trails.
“Quiet little B&B”
I'm SO glad I stumbled upon this place. It's very nice, super quiet, and reasonably priced considering the size of the suites. Breakfast was outstanding as well. This appears to be an apartment complex that was converted to a B&B. The suites are very close together, but they are super spacious, and very well maintained. My only gripe (and it's a minor one) is that it's fairly remote from downtown Sedona. If you're looking for shopping, dining, or nightlife, you'll have to drive to get there (it's about 15 minutes to downtown Sedona). Not a big deal, though, and the value of staying here far outweighed the inconvenience of driving.
“A vacation of dream! I loved it!”
Elegant but at the same time very welcoming and friendly atmosphere. Breakfast is a dream. Reception very efficient and helpful. The suite is as beautiful as it is shown in the web site EXCELLENT!
“More than a B&B”
Las Posadas is as lovely as the website implies. The room was large, an apartment really. Beautifully decorated and with a fireplace. We looked forward to the impressive breakfast every morning. Even though we were there in the off season we were still regaled with a three course meal. There were wonderful hiking trails very close by. It was fun to return from our hikes to see what snack and cookies were left in our frig. They were always delicious. The staff were very helpful. On the morning we left early for a day trip to the Grand Canyon the chef arrived early to make sure we had something before we left. We look forward to our next visit.
“Sedona Best Kept Lovely Secret”
We enjoyed our stay at Las Posadas of Sedona very much. The hotel was pretty, clean, well appointed, and just as we hoped. The suite was lovely; clean, well stocked, beautiful fireplace in bedroom and living area, comfortable bed. The staff were very accommodating; friendly, helpful, and apparently dedicated to our enjoyment. The specialty breakfast was excellent, prepared for us by a wonderful chef. Our only regret was that our stay was not longer.
“Hot tub soak under the stars outside of Sedona”
We really enjoyed this beautiful spot. Clean, easy with fireplace and hot tub and a wonderful breakfast. The distance from Sedona was not a problem. A great place with pleasant attitude.
“Can't wait to go back”
Most places I find that the website pictures are better that the actual place. Las Posadas is better that the pictures.
“Las Posadas - Sedona”
Excellent hotel and service. Although we did not care for the breakfasts that so many others have raved about. The hotel is about 8 - 10 miles from downtown Sedona, but the drive is beautiful. We loved the location, however, because of the proximity to the Sedona Golf Resort.
“Great Getaway!!!”
My husband and I had planned this getaway a couple of months in advance. We were highly anticipating a weekend of relaxing and spending quality time together. Las Posadas was perfect. The staff was wonderful and went above and beyond to be helpful. The room was great. The fireplace in the room was very nice. Dont expect lots of bells and whistles at this place. Expect to be able to check in and not be bothered, just do your own thing. I highly recommend as a place to reconnect with your spouse or signifigant other. We loved it!!!
