“Not as luxurious as they think”
From the description I was looking forward to a luxury stay. However although the hotel is beautiful with an excellent creekside location the staff were not help[ful, didn't give any info about the amenities, our room didn't have much of a view, the outdoor pool was small and hot tub tiny, far too small for amount of guests. Evening patio seating was allowed only for dining guests (open to outsiders) despite us paying to stay and half the tables empty. We would have liked a drink and to listen to the singer. The car park was half way up a hill and there was no offer of hel with baggage despite me having to wait for my husband to return from parking the car, leaving me outside the hotel with the bags. The hotel seemed to think it was very good when I feel the attitude could have improved the stay greatly. A premium cost for the creekside location when it is more convenient to stay in the main street above.
