This hotel is not your cookie cutter chain, but is an excellent place to stay. We only stayed one night but found it very relaxing. Good views of Sedona. Very clean rooms. Nice home style porch off the room for relaxing.

The Lodge at Sedona is a wonderful Craftsman-style bed and breakfast tucked away off of the busy 89A highway. Mature trees and landscaping compliment the "retreat" feel to the property. The common areas are tastefully appointed with Craftsman touches. Our second-floor bedroom was cozy, but a bit dark. We asked for another lamp and the staff willingly obliged. The open kitchen concept was unique--and allowed us to watch the chef at work. The gourmet breakfasts and late afternoon snacks were beautiful and very satisfying. Several other guests were there for a wellness retreat complete with vegetarian meals and colonics. These guests were dealing with very serious illnesses, and though the atmosphere was not unpleasant, there was a sense of earnestness to restore health and wellness.

"We had an Excellent Stay! The staff is top notch!"
From check in to check out, everything was really nice! The staff is great, cheerful, focused & very helpful. The rooms were super clean & very comfortable. Complimentary breakfast was delicious. Better than any other "free" breakfast....ever. We will be back. Thank You.
This is a great hotel. The customer service was fantastic. The breakfast was great, and the views even better. The only problem I had was there are no elevators and I had to lug my suitcase down two set of stairs, other than that it was great.
The location is a mile or two from the main part of town, but this is good! Its more private and has nice views, especially from the 3rd floor (we stayed on the 2nd floor and they were still good). It started with very friendly staff who offered us cold waters when we arrived. The facility is beautiful! Nice waterfall in the entry area, roof viewing area with a fire pit, and a great little restaurant (Reds) is attached to the property as well. The daily room cleaning was excellent and after dinner, we arrived back to the room and the staff had been back again to turn down the bed (complete with chocolates).... loved the visit here and the friendly staff and amenities. Definitely worth booking!
"Nice resort, near attractions we wanted to visit."
I cannot say enough about the wonderful staff we encountered. When we arrived the concierge gave us an overview of available dining via a printed nearby restaurant guide including various levels of pricing along with maps of points of interest. We were traveling with our young granddaughters and this information was extremely helpful. The room assigned was clean and spacious, we were very pleased with the location. The girls thought they would like to try the Tennis court and the front desk arranged to have the lights turned on and gave them racquets to use. I think the staff went out of their way to make this a pleasant stay and we apprecated that. We ate breakfast in the resort restaurant overlooking the grounds and loved the views of red rocks and well manicured grounds. We would recommend this hotel to family and friends and would certainly stay there again.
Had seen a 2-star rating saying there wasn't a hair dryer. There WAS a hair dryer, plus fridge & microwave. The staff was VERY good & efficient. We had a gorgeous view of the mountains, & if you are up early, you can see the hot air balloons. I will definitely stay there again, & highly recommend this motel.
we were pleasantly surprised by the quality and condition of this hotel, as we booked on line and booked according to reviews and price. The breakfast was great and we all enjoyed the views from our balconies. We were able to walk to a good steak restaurant and actually hiked right from the hotel. I would recommend this hotel and would stay there again if and when we return to Sedona.
