You've got to be kidding me !

Pros: The bed ..... only .... Bathroom is to small & room is outdated.
Cons: See above...... & in addition remind the W that front reception staff are the 1st & last ambassadors to the hotel & staff is key to accommodate.
Location: Location is good. Tear down the hotel & build a New one.
Stayed Saturday to Sunday & decided to stay another night as whether in Seattle was Great. Went to front desk to extend & they said cannot accommodate unless you book through Expedia. I said fine & asked where's a computer & he sais its Sunday our business center is closed. I asked "What should I do to resolve this? & he said go find a computer as I cannot help you. (Nor did he want to with an attitude). I got my luggage and went across the street to Monaco, a lovely & friendly hotel that had better rates, room, staff & Free wine tasting @ 5PM & took my reservation at the front desk immediately. The "W' is outdated and felt like I was in a 80's disco bar. Rooms had marks on the ceiling? Outdated fixtures & the only thing that was good was the Bed & comfortable sheets. This is the 2nd time I have stayed at the W in Seattle & believe no apology or compensation will ever bring me back. I have recommended to my cousin who is getting married shortly to ensure out of town guests ( up to 100) book a package anywhere but the "W". He confirmed with me has booked with Pan Pacific.

I was expecting more...

The W Hotel has a reputation for being prestigious and luxurious. I was very disappointed to see that it did not live up to its reputation. The W Hotel Seattle is outdated, the furniture in the lobby needs a makeover. The phones & lamps in the room are from the 90's and the mattress is saggy. The highlight of my stay was the exceptional staff. They were very helpful and attentive to all my needs. The W Hotel Seattle should model themselves after their hotels in Los Angeles or New York.

Central to the city

Posted 13-Apr-2015
Pros: The beds!! Valet service was super prompt and easy!
Cons: The bathrooms weren't as luxurious as I would've thought for a hotel of this caliber!
Location: Centrally located, State Library virtually next door, Pike's Place + shopping district a few blocks away. Easy drive to Capitol Hill, Ballard/Fremont!
Good hotel, super comfy beds, centrally located, free coffee bar in the lobby, super quick valet service! Great hotel, slightly overpriced for the experience, but in downtown, a few blocks from Pike's Place and the shopping district!

Close to all the sights in the city

Very good room only minor thing was the noise of the traffic outside. If I stayed again which maybe in the summer this year, I would stay at the same hotel but would prefer the same size room, but quiter one.

Good location

Walking distance to piles place and a lot of restaurants. Long walk, but do-able to the needle. Outrageously priced parking. $61.50 per night. Parking at the garage down the street is less than half that.

Nice place to stay and walk around the city.

Pros: Modern, close to downtown and shops
Cons: Bed covers and sheets can be cleaner with better quality.
Nice hotel with good restaurant/bar. Very friendly and professional staff. This hotel is pet (or maybe only dog) friendly, make sure you let them know that you need a quite room so they can place you at the room with no dogs neighboring you. When I checked in to my room noticed the dog bark from the next door room and asked hotel to move me to another room.

Pros: We enjoyed everything about the hotel
Location: The hotel is close to all the shopping down town.
I've stayed at the W before and both time I've enjoyed my stay. The rooms are clean, comfortable and have lots of room. The staff was really nice and we enjoyed the drinks at the bar.

Perfect Location

We were in Seattle to check out the area for a potential move and we fell in love. The W was wonderfully located. Walking distance to many tourist attractions such a Pikes Place and the aquarium. Hotel was nice even though we didn't spend much time there. Parking was pricey, but it was valet and you are able to come and go as many times as you need for a flat rate. The valet guys are extremely quick and friendly too. We enjoyed the hotel and would recommend it to friends, all the experiences I've had with W Hotels have been pleasant so far.
