“Comfortable and convenient”

Stay here 3 times and each time it was good. Complimentary breakfast and dinner is a nice touch. Stayed in a double bed unit and felt more like apartment living than an inn. Quiet, comfortable and convenient. Alderwood mall is a block away, Keg steak house next door, close to freeway.

“Convenient place to stay”

We had not stayed at a Residence Inn before, but are seasoned Marriott travelers. This property is very convenient as it is almost in the mall, and there are several restaurant choices close by. We did not take advantage of the breakfast buffet as our jobs had us leaving before they served it. Large room, fairly well appointed and clean. No complaints.

Close to everything Shopping Mall, dinning everything if you didn't want to drive you could walk. Had a great time.

“Great "Girls" Getaway”

This was an annual "Girls" weekend getaway to shop the weekend prior to Black Friday. We normally stay at a different hotel but as the price was great and it was a 1 bedroom, we decided to try it out. Room was great. Would have liked 2 queen beds so that we could all be in same room but pull out sofa was good. Room was very clean and had everything we could ask for and more. The best part of this hotel is truly the staff. I have never had such great service. The day we were leaving, we had come down to breakfast (which is really good too) only to find the snow starting to come down. One of the young ladies behind the desk actually searched us out in the dining area to give us an update on the road conditions as she knew we were travelling back to Canada. This hotel is only about 5 minutes away from Alderwood and there is a Keg Restaurant right next door! We will definately be back soon.

Dining

Macaroni Grill is fabulous for lunch or dinner. Go to Nordstrom's Bistro for the grilled ham and cheese sandwiches for lunch. Their french fries are to die for.

“Excellent place to stay”

My daughter and I stayed at this hotel for a "girls shopping weekend". We were very pleased with this hotel. It really felt like our home away from home. The location is excellent for all shopping and restaurants. There was a pool but the weather didn't allow for swimming outdoors. The breakfast was good with lots of variety and the hotel staff were all very friendly and knowledgeable. I would recommened this hotel to others wanting an excellent, roomy hotel while staying around Lynnwood.

“Home away from home”

The Residence Inn is a "home away from home" for business travelers. The accommodations are like your own apartment (with fully-equipped kitchen) and plenty of space for working (plus, of course, Wifi). The surrounding area has a major mall, hence every convenience.

Area recommendations

Alderwood mall and vicinity has all sorts of conveniences. For scenery, nearby Edmonds is a lovely town, with stunning views and a harbor with ferry. Mukilteo is also nice - again, with stunning views and a harbor with ferry, although not much of a "strolling" town the way Edmonds is.

Dining

For those who like Asian food, Lynnwood has plenty of it (especially Vietnamese and Korean, with some Japanese, Chinese and Thai). On recent visits we enjoyed Pho Duc Vietnamese restaurant - try the "Vietnamese crepe" - and Blue C Sushi in Alderwood Mall (and don't be scared away by the fact that it's in a mall.:))

“Spacious, convenient and clean”

Nothing outstanding about this property, just a spotless, spacious room in a convenient location off I-5, with a good breakfast and delicious cookies in the evening. Highly recommended for families with children.
