“Central location, reasonable rates”
Very clean and great location. Staff was very helpfull.
“Wonderful place to stay”
I was really happy with my choice to stay here. I have nothing but great things to say about it! The room was clean and the service was great. You can't beat the surrounding neighborhood.
“The start of a new tradition”
We felt like we'd magically arrived in the grand hotel lobby of a 1940s black and white movie as we stepped into the Mayflower Park Hotel. The old building, high ceiling and windows and warm colors, and light catching mirrors were captivating and enriched the rooms. It was breath-takingly nostalgic of a bygone era yet contemporary enough to satisy our techie needs. Our 4th avenue, 5th floor room was quaint, quiet, and so comfortable we slept later than usual. The happy hour at Oliver's bubbled with the pre-Christmas crowd. The free and remarkably delicious and varied appetizers were a welcome treat that we'd wished we had more time for. Breakfast at Analuca's downstairs was good too - I can't believe my husband sacrificed his croissant for me. They are truly unlike any other croissant I've ever tasted. Yum! We loved the interior access to Westlake Center but were more focused on shopping the stores on the streets this first stay. Having the monorail entrance right there in the mall made it easy to get to the Key Arena for the concert on time, too. We had the best hotelservice you could ask for. They deserve high marks! We have a low budget yet high standards and were so delighted with our first experience, we've decided to make Mayflower Park Hotel a part of our annual start of the Christmas holiday tradition - even though we live just an hour's drive north.
“Top Notch Hotel”
This is a great hotel. The location is convenient, the hotel elegant and clean and the service exceptional. You will not be disappointed.
“Heart of Seattle”
I spent the past weekend with my son and the wonderful Mayflower Park Hotel in the heart of downtown Seattle. It was a wonderful experience and I look forward to my next visit. The Mayflower Park has plenty of old charm but with modern renovations that provide a great mix. The rooms are spacious and comfortable and the service very attentive without being overbearing. It is located in the heart of downtown Seattle and many excellent restaurants are within an easy walk from the hotel. In addition, public transportation (including the monorail) are close by if one is interested in exploring other areas of the city. I highly recommend the Mayflower Park Hotel and will definitely stay there again when my travels take me to Seattle.
“Great Downtown Seattle location”
Great downtown Seattle location. Very clean, spacious room. Easy access to shopping, restaurants and walkable to Seattle attractions (Pikes Market, Pioneer Square, waterfront). Because of downtown location, you may hear traffic noise (we were on the 8th floor), however all things considered, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
“Excellent special occasion night”
Our anniversary night with the Mayflower was a real treat. We were treated royally with a red rose, small sample of chocolates, and a signed card from the staff. Our dinner at the hotel restaurant was also great with excellent service, fine dining, and a choc. cake desert to die for. All in all, and memorable anniversary and we will be back next year.
“Excellent hospitality”
Great old hotel, we were surprised with a beautiful suite, great location, great bar and restaurant with wonderful food.
“Old Charm in the City”
The Mayflower is a little different than the normal down town hotel. It has an old world charm and is right in the centre of vibrant Seattle. We valeted our vehicle and walked and took the monorail to where we wanted to go. The bathroom was quite small (the hairdryer was outside in the closet "for our convenience"!) and the lack of extractor fan made the mirror a little tricky to use after a shower. There was also no mini bar to cool our water. The furnishings were lovely and the ambience gentle. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
“Would definitely recommend”
From the moment we walked into the Mayflower Park, the staff was extremely courteous and helpful. Our room was clean and comfortable, and we had an excellent view of the city. Wendy the consierge helped up to set up transportation to SeaTac for the next day. I had broken my glasses the night before on our cruise ship and Wenday was able to direct us to someone who could fix them for me. We had just returned from a fabulous 7 day cruise to Alaska and the Mayflower was an excellent way to end our trip to Seattle.
