“cheap and basic”

the hotel was a good price for what you get. It is clean and tidy and the breakfast was good but not exceptional. The building is badly in need of upgrades and repair. Previous water damage to ceilings, bathroom walls, bathroom fans that don't work properly, excessive moisture and condensation on windows if they are kept closed, smell of mildew in some rooms, etc. the beds are very comfortable and the fridge and microwave in each room was what we were needing. All in all, as a place to crash for 1 night it is fine for the money you spend.

“Fantastic stay”

Don't know why this motel has such a poor rating. Maybe I'm someone who's easily pleased, but this motel easily met and surpassed all my expectations.

I had a little trouble finding the hotel at first, road construction at my exit. Otherwise everything was very good. Staff friendly and helpful.

The hotel was great, and the staff was very helpful and friendly. The location could be better, as there is not much for food or entertainment within walking distance.

“First time at a La Quinta. May do more often at the paid Expedia rate”

Fairly clean room, fairly clean hotel. Ambience suffered from on-going highway construction and detour. A pretty good deal at the Expedia rate , but would not be a good deal at the standard La Quinta rate. Quite nice breakfast service, and wonderful treatment of guests with pets. This was our first-ever La Quinta stay, would like to compare to other La Quinta properties. Friendly service personnel.

“Pet-owners paradise.”

Pets are welcome and there are even complimentary pick-up bags and a special waste can for them in the back of the hotel. Travelling with pets have many times forced me to stay in not so clean and nice places. This was a great place for both the pets and me. I will no doubt be back next time I travel to the area.

“It's Okay....”

I chose the hotel because it stated 'free internet and free parking'. when we arrived, I found out that there is NO wireless internet... (feel cheated a bit), but there's connection from the wall to the laptop available in the room. The hotel is right next to the freeway, the road is under construction, therefore it can be noisy. We did not want the knocking in the morning, so we used the 'do not disturb' sign. However, I was thinking that they would clean up the room later. Nope. Our room was NOT cleaned for three days... and when I asked the front desk, the lady told me that they only clean the room ONCE a day, which is in the morning. So if you want your room to be clean, you better get up early so that won't get the knocking on the door early morning... The friendliest person in the hotel was the older lady at the breakfast area. Not too crazy about the front desk service. It's an Okay stay. I might want to try somewhere else for my next visit in Seattle...
