Totally Amazed at Service

Posted 13-Oct-2014
Pros: I loved the funky artsy decor. If felt like a New York loft. The location was wonderful, we walked everywhere. I felt welcome and cared for.
Cons: Nothing
Location: Amazing restaurants, shopping near by. The Space Needle was a short walk away. They have a shuttle that will drop you at an array of locations.
The staff was unbelievable. My every need was taken care of. Another guest walked in with a bunch of fresh flowers and they concierge took the flowers, put them in a vase and delivered them to the room. The staff gave 5Star service with our the 5Star price.

We loved the location and the Staff

Posted 11-Oct-2014
Pros: A little different but not in a bad way. The staff was very friendly including concierge.
Cons: They need ice machines. They currently have freezers with bags of ice pre-filled. It just makes for one huge clump of ice.
Location: Walking distance to space needle, and Pike Place. Also easy walk to train station from the hotel.
For our first trip ever to Seattle I booked this hotel for my wife and I knowing it wouldn't be the hotel we are used to staying in. It's modern appearance certainly isn't the typical cookie cutter hotel but we loved it. The location was wonderful, as we easily walked to the space needle, and Pike Place and most importantly the train station that took us to the airport meaning we never needed a car or cab. The staff was really nice and even offered to call ahead to the restaurants we were asking about. We actually stayed at two different hotels on this trip as my company paid for a different hotel two of the nights. I will say that hotel was more than twice the price and we didn't enjoy it as much. I would definitely recommend Hotel FIVE to a friend wanting to experience Seattle. I say experience because this isn't your average city, so why why stay in another chain hotel. Thanks.

Central location.

Posted 10-Oct-2014
Pros: Staff, nice feel
Cons: Nothing
Location: Belltown is a walk away, CBD & the Pike Street market in the other direction. I was there for work, and it was handy for the I5 and UW
This is a resuscitated Ramada which has been given a facelift, as well as better infrastructure. Staff were great, and it's well situated between the CBD and Belltown, great eating in every direction. The rooms were a little cramped with 2 queen sized beds, but the facilities were overall very good. There is self-parking for $15 a night, and free bicycles for sightseeing.

Contemporary hotel with great amenities

Posted 05-Oct-2014
Pros: Walking distance to a lot of landmarks. Shuttle service downtown.
Cons: The bathroom could be a little bit stuffy. It had a bathroom vent but I didn't feel the fan was strong enough.
This hotel is walking distance to Pike Place, the Space Needle, and a lot of other sites. The free shuttle service to several landmarks was an added bonus. The pineapple cupcakes daily were yummy! We didn't use the free bikes but thought that was a great option. The noise from the street was kinda of loud but it didn't wake us up. We had to wake up early every morning anyways but if you want to sleep in, you might request a room not facing the street.

Incredible hotel, even better location

I can't say enough good things about Hotel Five. The staff was so friendly, the room was fun, clean, and modern. The common areas as well as the room were impeccably clean. They offer free umbrellas and bikes, two cute perks. The location can't be beat, within walking distance to the space needle and Pikes Place Market (but they offer a free shuttle if you prefer). Couldn't recommend this place more.

Good atmosphere. Good location. Ride bikes two times to explore Seattle downtown and Lake Union area, respectively. Very convenient.

Perfect spot!

My partner and I visited Seattle for the first time at the end of May 2014. Hotel 5 is awesome! The place is spectacularly cool. The staff were always smiling, friendly, and helpful. The hotel location is perfect. You can easily walk (or use the complimentary hotel bikes!) to a number of local attractions. The hotel restaurant is very simple but the food is good and the wait staff was really nice and funny. If I ever go back to Seattle I'm definitely staying at Hotel 5.
