Property is dated. The lights are so dim, only 1 small ceiling bulb in a huge washroom that I could not save. DO NOT promote this Hotel to ruin Expedia reputation.

The facility is centrally located to shopping and dining options. Having a restaurant and bar in the hotel is also a huge plus as it was convenient on the first day I arrived and I didn’t feel like going anywhere. I was concerned initially when I heard about the police presence and incident that occurred the night before I arrived. After seeing the news and asking around I realized it wasn’t the norm for this place so I chose to keep my reservation. The check in went smoothly and the bar tender named Johnny was a great hostess and hard worker. The next night it was someone different that works the bar and that individual was rude and unprofessional.

Hotel experience was nice. Check-in was quick, parking was good. Only giving 4-stars because there were a few big mosquitoes and fruit flies found in our room.

The room was dusty, vent cover was dusty, the floor was dusty, the laundry/washer machines out of order. Got charged with a higher price different than the one I was told. I will never stay in this place again.

I did not like that the parking fee was not disclosed when I made my reservation and that you are nickel and diming your guests for services that should accompany the room. Such as parking, if I stay at your hotel odds are, that I have to get there somehow and not all guests will rely solely on the shuttle. I was there for business and needed transportation. I think the parking rates with the taxes and tourist fee need to be disclosed and I should be assumed as part of the guests stay.

Convenient location. Loved the later check-out time. Pool was open until midnight. Food was great in the restaurant, ate both dinner and buffet style breakfast. Looking foward to our next trip to the seattle area.

We’ve been staying at The DoubleTree Southcenter for years. In 2022 we stayed and it wasn’t as good. Like most businesses, and hotels especially, they were hit hard and their maintenance suffered during covid. We got a really good deal recently so we decided to try it out and I’m please to say, it was in very good condition and the staff was very friendly.

Had not one but both comforters stained with what looked like bodily fluids. The worst part is that the sheets were hiding the filth and our children and ourselfs slept in it. Called the frint office and were told they would clean the room and replace all linens, shortly after room service arrives with only a comforter and tossed out in the counter. I let him know that we were told the room would be recleaned and he said I'm only dropping off the comforter and walked out. We were on our way out and had to make sure we would get all linens replaced yet again. So disappointing so much has changed since our last stay. We love the location but Would not stay at this location again.

This hotel has a swimming, pool, hot tub, and sauna which is a nice addition for relaxing at the hotel. It also has a fitness center. The hotel is about 500 feet from Southcenter mall which has many restaurants and shopping available.

Arrived late due to canceled flight needing to book a room with a short notice from the airport. Chose hotel based on price and location. Had a big living room and a separate bedroom. Rooms showing age and wear - could use updating carpets and furniture. Check in person efficient and friendly and check out person less so. Sheets were clean and crisp, making for a good sleep.

I love staying at the property and have many times over the past few decades-yes, decades! For the first time, I noticed the place is aging. For the first time, I also noticed the noise associated with the open center. It was New Years Eve and there were kids and teens running and yelling around the perimeter. No one seemed to address this.

Secret courts uncovered
We have been staying in Tukwila for years for soccer games and tournaments. We just found the Doubletree with racket ball courts and a big gym. This is where we will be staying every time from now on. It has a pretty good restaurant and bar too
