“not impressed”

- walls were paper thin, could hear people in the next room - restaurant hours not convenient - parking lot attendant was absent from position our whole stay (no security) - stale snacks in the vending machine

“Won't ever return”

The hotel was clean and the room was nice, BUT- we weren't told that several rooms were being temporarily being used as dorms for the local college students, and starting at 12:30 am, the "kid" next door decided to turn up his TV loud and keep it on all night. We notified the clerk, who asked the guy to turn the TV down, and he did slightly, but not enough. It was so annoying, that we called again and requested another room. The clerk informed us that, if we had wanted to stay at a hotel that was QUIET, he wouldn't have recommended this hotel!!!! Who doesn't expect a hotel to be quiet in the middle of the night?! there was also banging at 1 am like someone was hammering! Never again. not even an apology.

“Well located, Great food at Italian resto next door.”

“Nice hotel”

The room was clean and comfortable. I would stay in a Ramada hotel again.

“Nice room for the price...”

We only stayed one night passing through the area. The room was clean and comfortable for the price and length of time we stayed. The hotel was a bit rundown but they kept it clean. The day staff was very friendly. The night staff was alright, but not as friendly. The only problem we had was that the toilet was plugged up. We didn't notice until morning and luckily didn't have it run-over on us. We reported it to the staff on check out. They apologized and said they would take care of it.

Area recommendations
We flew in to do genealogical research and so we spent our time in Jim Thorpe, PA. It was a really neat old city with lots of history.
Other
Lots of history in the area. We drove around the beautiful countryside and also spent time in the Carbon County archives looking for genealogical information. The people in this area were all so friendly and nice. We would definitely return to PA.

“Wilke-Barre, pa”

The Hotel is on the square of down town , hard to find from the interstate and hard to get to the interstate , you have to park in parking garage across yhe street. No restaurants near to the hotel,and the hotel restauarnt that every limited selection of meals.
