“Economical & resonably priced.”

The hotel is a 3 star and is just that. The room was what you expect from a 3 star. It is easy to locate & has a leisure section. The evening meal was good and priced reasonably as were the drinks. Would I return, probably yes. Downside, a little tired but staff were excellent.

“Hotel decor a bit tired”

Hotel was clean enought but decor a bit tired. Double bed was two single beds pushed together so could be a bit uncomfortable. Location only 10 min walk to town centre. Hotel staff very pleasant.

“Satisfied”

Craigmonie was a quaint hotel situated in the suburb area of Inverness. While the walk was longer than I would have hoped, I would stay there again if I return to Inverness.

take a walk down River Ness to the Ness islands.

“Very friendly and helpful staff.”

We spent four nights in this lovely hotel. There was always a smile and friendly comment from any staff we met, they were ready to help, and answer any questions such as how to get to places. The receptionist reminded us about early breakfast arrangements on our last morning and booked a taxi to get us to the station for 7.30 a.m.. The food was fresh and hot - breakfasts and evening meals. We really enjoyed our stay.

Area recommendations
We strolled along the river Ness to the Ness IsIands over pretty footbridges as far as the Caledonian Canal. Wooded islets in the middle of Inverness. We drove to Chanonry Point on the Black Isle but weren't lucky enough to see dolphins.

“Great place to stay.”

Made to feel very welcome by all the friendly staff.Nice relaxing place to stay and within walking distance of the city centre.

“Tolles Hotel - jederzeit wieder!”

Ein tolles kleines Hotel in der "Hauptstadt der Highlands". Absolut gut erreichbar, genügend Parkplätze und gutes Frühstück. Das Hotel verfügt über ein großes Spa-Angebot, so dass hier sicher auch längere Aufenthalte interessant wären.

Traveller's tip
Inverness ist ein guter Ausgangspunkt für Erkundungen in den Highlands. Schottland ist reich an attraktiven Zielen und somit immer eine Reise wert.
