Alexandra's is a charming building with quaint scottish carpet throughout, the staff work hard to make it a lovely place in spite of its age and wear. Breakfast was good. Our room was quite warm but the staff brought a fan. A complaint is the bed was very dippy in the middle making it an uncomfortable night.

Hotel is ok, dated. Old style keys, bathtub rather than shower stall, aged room. Internet was good in room, but wifi was very unreliable in the lobby/lounge area. 6 out of 10

Exceptionally well located for railborne arrivals, though the main road is something of an obstacle. The building has been much expanded, to its architectural detriment; once through the revolving door it feels serviceable rather than grand. The welcome is warm; the management professional.

Thread bare carpets and upholstery. Save your money and go stay in the travel lodge. Staff were nice and friendly and it was clean.

The property maybe a little tired but my room was clean and comfortable, the staff very friendly and the breakfast was very good. I've stayed here before and will happily do so again

My one complaint is regarding the walk-in showers, as I am an older person these are great, but my complaint is that they could do with a support handle within the shower, this is particularly good for those of us who are a little unsteady on our feet.

Nice and quiet hotel, friendly staff, lovely food. Room smelled a bit weird but bedding etc was nice, clean and comfy. Still a noise outside window with generator but nothing crazy. I will certainly go back.

We found the hotel so friendly and the staff were great. I think they went over and above to make us feel at home and it worked 😀 The hotel is very central. Loved the old style of the hotel

Hotel is a bit tired could do with a refurb but nice staff and great location. Electric charging point in the car park would be a good idea for future consideration.

This was my 2nd stay at this hotel. I booked into a single room which was small but expected and very clean, comfortable and quite adequate for my needs. The bathroom was spacious and everything was very clean. Breakfast was very good. The Bistro at the hotel also offers excellent dining for dinner and there are other wonderful restaurants and pubs within walking distance as well. The hotel is situated at the end of the High Street so there is plenty of shopping and it is DIRECTLY across the street from the train station so it is incredibly convenient. That was my original reason for booking the 1st time as I needed to be within walking distance of the train and I have been absolutely satisfied with these accommodations. I would happily stay here again.

The hotel could be a very beautiful hotel but it is extremely tired, out dated with wallpaper coming off the walls, paint peeling in the bathroom, curtains that were moth eaten, windows grubby and un cared for. Generally speaking the hotel is just very unloved and its a real shame.

Hotel with history and charm
A hotel full of charm and history, plenty of character.plenty of walks, near to the ruins of Invergarry castle. Staff are friendly and helpful, great touch in being shown to your rooms. Food is excellent and worth it.
