The public rooms - such as the Lounge Bar and the Library - merge traditional elements like log fires with contemporary art. We have a fine collection of paintings, sculptures and other art on display at Cringletie, most of them by Scottish artists.

“Will Return Again”

This is a beautiful small hotel. The service was outstanding. This our third stay and we are never disappointed.

“Great service”

A lovely weekend, great food , really helpful staff. Situated in a lovely part of the country. Excellent for a quiet break minor complaints would be the room was quite small for a double chambermaid left a bag of rubbish and her cleaning materials outside our door for nearly 24 hours
