Every single one of the hotel staff that my friends and I came into contact with were so helpful and accomodating! The gentlemen at the front desk were sweet and funny and willing to help in every and any way possible! The room, albeit a tiny bit cramped (not terribly so, just had issues getting the luggage cart in and out, but bathroom is big and beds are super comfortable with plenty of pillows), was very nice and had a nice view! The shower had excellent pressure and great temperature control (we were all able to have nice, hot showers, even though we all were showering one right after the other and we all took lengthy showers)! The only complaint/con I may have is that, which I must say can happen at any hotel, is that, when other guests let their children run yelling through the halls, it was quite disruptive...but, we had a fan with us and that helped to drown out the sound!
After reading some of the reviews I had seriously considered switching hotels. So glad we didn't! This hotel was perfect for our party of 7. The front desk staff was very friendly. Our room was clean & comfortable. The bed was awesome!! There were hardly any reviews about the pool, but it was nice as well. A little over chlorinated, but that's to be expected. It is a lap pool. 4ft depth throughout and very long. We stayed on a Friday night over spring break & there was still plenty of room for everyone to swim. This hotel is HUGE! Each floor is made up of 4 large squares that only meet in the center lobby. Our kids thought it was pretty cool. And I loved the blow dryer in our room :) take advantage of the shuttle service!! It's free & convenient. It took us to Medieval Times for dinner & came back for us when we called.
Excellent hotel. I always stay in Schaumburg when I travel to Illinois for law school. I'm a student at Loyola School of Law and the pricing in Schaumburg is more suitable for my budget.
Thanks for the excellent service.
