“Not recommended”

We arrived at the address on the booking form, in Meribel centre, only to find that the 'apartment address' was the location of an estate agents. We were told that our actual apartment was a ten minute bus ride up the mountain in plateau. It seems that nieges apartments are an agency that owns several apartments around Meribel and that where you stay is luck of the draw. Our location was not where we expected, away from Meribel centre. We were assigned to 'apartment grand sud', which when we arrived had no bedding or towels, a worker there told us that the cost of hiring linen and towels was 40 euros a week and could only be done at the nieges apartments (estate agents), something they did'nt tell us when we were there, hence a 60 minute round trip back to the agency. The apartment itself was clean and as advertised, my complaint is that you book expecting to be near Meribel centre and end up nowhere near, plus the estate agents are not very helpful, hence the poor review.

“one star at best”

not very clean, tiny shower, one towel for 7 days but ski in ski out. $100 to rent a 9 inch tv with only one chanel in english but a nice view from the porch.
