Just a short drive (10 mins) from legoland and easy to find the staff at the hotel were very helpfull and children got goody bags on arrival of stickers and colouring items. Pool nice and warm and room had everything we needed and was very clean and spacious.
We had a fantastic stay at the Royal Berkshire hotel. We stayed on a Friday/Saturday night, with the intention of heading to the Ascot races on the Saturday. Check in went very smoothly on the Friday night, and the room was fantastic, with a lovely view.
On the Saturday, we noticed a lot of people trying to check in at 11am, obviously hoping to get into the hotel, changed, and out for the first race (at 12:40pm on Saturday). But check in time was listed at 2pm, and although I'm sure the hotel would have done all they could do to accommodate early attendees, if you are hoping to attend a jumps meeting with an early start, I recommend checking in the day before.
We returned from the racing Saturday night and had dinner in the Fork restaurant which was exceptional. Special mention for the steak main course, and the Fairground dessert (we didn't have it, but it looked spectacular). My girlfriend had the "Jelly" dessert, which again, looked amazing, and according to her it tasted superb.
The staff were also able to conform with a special request we had for the Sunday when we were leaving. Any time we went to the bar in the hotel we were impressed, with the staff there extremely helpful and chatty.
The only (minor) downpoint, was the lack of air con in the room, and I don't think it would have been a problem, were it not for the unseasonably warm Halloween we've had! All in all though, it was a superb hotel, and well worth spending the money on
After a great day at the races we could'nt have picked a better hotel to stay at. Convenient for Ascot & Windsor, located in a quiet area with good eating places locally.
A lovely welcoming room with everything you need including a great in-room continental breakfast so no need to rush in the morning.
Just right for a relaxing stay.

Check in was easy. Got to our room and we were really satisfied with the price that we paid. With the amount that we spent, both of us are happy! Wake up early and spend some time to walk around the place, the view in the morning is breathtaking.
We needed to have an overnight stay at Windsor, have tried other hotels in the past but this was much nicer. Hotel was easy to find and access - with a disabled bay right outside main entrance, a real bonus as we had my elderly mother with us. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Decor modern and clean, rooms very comfortable. Breakfast was limited and on a help yourself basis - more than enough for us and very tasty. We will be using this hotel if we need another stay as our daughter lives nearby. Recommended.
