“excellent place to stay on river street”

Great place to stay in Savannah and using expedia was a breeze for last minute arrangements for Thanksgiving Day.

“Great service, value and location in Savannah”

First stay in this hotel in Savannah. Great location between River and Bay streets. Easy access to shops and restaurants on River St. Historic building with ambiance. Friendly staff and great value.

“Will be back!”

Our hotel room was beautiful and the staff (front desk, bellman, housekeeping, bartender) was extremely personable and friendly, not to mention accommodating. Will plan to stay here again.

“Great place to stay!”

We loved this hotel. It was very conveniently located to everything in the Historic District. Very easy to walk everywhere. Hotel was clean, room was adorable, staff was nice. Would definitely stay here again!

“Great Atmosphere”

River Street Inn is a wonderful, off-the-beaten-track inn with a home-like feel. We especially enjoyed that it is located right on the river with wonderful views. We also enjoyed the nightly wine and cheese reception for guests. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

“Southern charm in Savannah”

Great location, fantastic character hotel with an exceptionally helpful staff. Loved the southern hospitality and honest recommendations on things to do, restaurants, etc.

“Conveniently Savannah”

I had stayed here several years back and recall noise from a room overlooking River Street. For this trip, my room faced Bay Street and it was a quieter experience. The room was large, the the turndown service left behind a tasty treat and coupon for the local candy shop. I did not find an iron in the room - but had one and a board within minutes of calling the front desk. Service at the check-in desk was helpful with recommendations for places to eat. The location was very convenient to historic Savannah, River Street and the ferry to the convention center.

“It is now our hotel in Savannah”

Have stayed here twice. Affordable, great view, helpful staff, convenient location, furnished just the way we like, it is now our place to stay when visiting Savannah.

“authentic historical inn”

in the middle of riverfront action. there is a restaurant on 1st and 2nd floor so depending on room location ---can get noisy. also riverfront is busy and noisy into late night. staff was very helpful.
