“Nice hotel”
Hotel was good, parking as not truck was vandalized in supplied parking
“Very nice hotel”
We enjoyed our stay despite the whole family having colds while we were there. The beds were very comfortable and so were the comforters. The walls could be a bit thicker but I think it was mostly noisy because we were put in an ajoining room so the sound probably made it through that door. We didn't have a chance to check out the pool or other amenities but the lounge area near the front door was very spacious with lots of seating and a nice fireplace. It is one of the nicer hotels I have stayed in while in Saskatoon and I would stay there again. The best part was the convenient location right across from the Midtown Plaza shopping mall. The only things that I noticed weren't great was the tub finish had some chipped spots (if I'm being really picky) and I didn't like having to pay for parking. It was an extra $12 per day so be prepared for that charge on top of the expedia price. Speaking of Expedia, I was very pleased with the check in process as they had the room card ready and I only had to mention my name to get it. I was quick and easy compared to some hotels I"ve been to that sometimes don't know what they're doing with internet reservations. Great stay and service overall. I would recommend it.
“Good Location & Clean”
I found the room clean and in a good downtown location. The beds are clean, but could be replaced as I found the bed to be worn out from wear.
“Worked for us!!”
Would stay there again..
“Comfortable, but noisy”
The hotel room was comfortable, the restaurant food was good, but I don't understand why hotels have to have a 1/2" gap below the doors to the hall and inadequate noise sealing around the doors. For half the night you could hear every conversation/door shut/loud laughter/you-name-it in the hall because the doors don't stop any noise. The door to the room might as well have been wide open. It turned an otherwise nice stay into one where you couldn't get to sleep until 2 in the morning.
“Average hotel at a high price”
This hotel is fine. Saskatoon is typically an expensive place to stay and this hotel is no exception.
“Great location and more”
It was the Free Breakfast promotion that sealed the deal - a full hot buffet including omellette and waffle bar for both mornings of our stay (this may be a limited offer, so check first.) The only downside was that this online promotion was 100% non-refundable, but since we had concert tickets and knew we wouldn't be cancelling, no problem-o. The hotel itself is the old Holiday Inn - I believe - upgraded to Hilton standards. It is right across the street from the Centennial Auditorium, Saskatoon's finest concert venue (renamed the Teachers Credit Union Place) and the Midtown Plaza, the city's best mall. Close walk to the river and all downtown shopping and dining. Immaculate rooms and front-desk staff who quickly and cheerfully sorted out a minor problem (air conditioning that didn't work.) This could become my favourite "new" hotel in Saskatoon.
“Good spot for a business traveler in downtown Saskatoon”
This hotel does a good job of all the basics you expect as a business traveler.
“Shocking Bed”
Hilton Garden Inn Hotel, Saskatoon Downtown Hotel is a good hotel in a good location with "Totally Lousy Beds"! The beds have a comfort adjustment that did not affect the comfort. Excessively hard beds (not firm), just plain old hard, like a board! The breakfast supplied provided with my room purchase had very good choices. I would not want to purchase any meal from out of my pocket though. The Hilton Hotel prices are excessively high. I thought parking was included. Upon check out I received a bill for $12.00 per day for parking my car. Nice hotel, but if you want and need a decent rest, I do not recommend this hotel until the beds are improved! In total need of a good rest in a decent bed after spending 3 nights in the Hilton Garden Inn's totally lousy bed!
“Great hotel, great location”
This hotel is in a great location downtown with easy access to the Midtowne mall directly across the street. It was quiet and comfortable, although you would expect that from a fairly expensive hotel. I do wish it had a free continental breakfast.
