“this place is better than heaven”

the quality of hotel service is excellent, ranging from cleaniness of the room to attendence by the beach. The hotel is located along a big stretch of private beach, it seems like you have the whole ocean to yourself when you are swimming or fooling around in the ocean. I would certainly highly recommend this hotel.

“Had an excellent time!”

my daughter and I spent the Mother's Day Weekend at the Longboat Key Club Resort. When we got there , they had upgraded our room to a suite. A wonderful surprise! We breadkfasted in every morning since we had a full kitchen! Ate out on our balcony overlooking the pool and the glorious Gulf of Mexico. We spent most of our day on the beach had lunch at the pool side restaurant Barefoots which was quite enjoyable. At night we ventured out to nearby restaurants... The Beach Bistro and Fin & Grab at St. Armands Circle. IBoth were fabulous ! A divine experience!

Area recommendations
St, Armands Circle, Sarasota or downtown Sarasota .... both have nightlife and wonderful dining places.
Dining
Beach Bistro is located in Holmes Beach on Anna Maria Island - areound 25 minutes from the LBK Club Resort. Reservations needed... a bit pricey but excellent , delicious cusiine.

“Beautiful Spot”

My husband, toddler son and I stayed at the Longboat Key Resort for two nights of our Florida vacation because of a special promotion (apparently the room rate was about half-price) - the beach was beautiful, rooms were renovated/very clean and comfortable, etc. We had bad weather the first day so couldn't take advantage of the beach or the pool - I went to the spa which was very nice. Caution: on-demand movie rentals were a nice amenity but pretty pricey at $15 for a movie. I would definitely recommend this hotel - I would not pay the normal room rate though. Treat yourself if you can!
