“Nice weekend getaway”
Overall I was satisfied with the hotel. Service by employees was great in the breakfast room and at the swimming pool bar. I was not happy with the Adult Pool that was in need of skimming for the two days that I was there. My daughter said that the Adult/Children's pool was fine. Best thing was the pool area arrangement which had a convenient entrance to the wonderful Lido Beach. Close proximity to St. Armands is a plus
“Hotel room sale not represented accurately.”
The hotel was nice though I didn't like the exterior door. It was very noisy and felt unsecure. I had requested a tower room. It wasn't until I checked into the hotel they told me Expedia cannot offer tower rooms.
“Stay in the Towers.”
Beautiful beach!
“Right on the beach”
I wanted on the beach and that's what I got. 2 nice pools, private beach and Tiki bar were enjoyable. The hotel is somewhat dated - could use a face lift. The 8th floor fine dining restaurant was great. The price for the room was fair based upon the location. I would go back.
“cant wait to go back!!!!!!!!”
impressive hotel, amazing view, clean, great service
“Great place to experience some rest and relaxation”
Just needed four days away from work and everything else to sit on a beautiful beach and relax. We wanted close proximity to bars, restaurants, shops, as well as a quick walk to our room. It had it all. Staff was great. Food was great.
“Great place to relax and get away!”
The resort and surrounding area was beautiful and more than we could imagine. There were lots of shops and resturants in the circle close to the resort, but not much for kids to do at night. Pretty much everything closes up shop around 830-9. Kayaking at the state park was magnificent and would advise anyone and everyine to do that with heavenly kyaking that was a blast. The beach at the resort is amazing and the staff is very friendly and willing to help you set up for the day. Be careful if you do come back from the bar late night the gates are locked and chained from the beach.... learned that the hard way,but overall awesome awesome resort no complaints what so ever and cannot wait to go back next year!
“Lido Beach was impressive for the offseason traveler like us.”
Our appraisal of the Lido Beach resort is that the room was nicely in order : there was some torn carpet (room 238). Bathroom and overall room was clean and had a neat view of the ocean and pool/tici bar. Service seemed average. Beautiful location however: beach very well kept and clean. Safe and we just enjoyed our time despite the reason we were there( family funeral) 4 star rating but no more.
“"Only place to stay"”
Love this hotel Went the 1st time in April 2011 Recommend newer tower called South Tower, verses original building. Had a room with bay view high floor, nice enough. This time requested ocean/gulf view. Much nicer. But not necessary. Walk directly to beach Can also walk to town 10 min walk all the best restaurants and fun shopping. Tiki Bar at hotel has really good food. Can't think of staying anywhere else
“Would definitely recommend”
This was a lovely hotel conveniently located right on the Lido Beach and very close to St. Armand's Circle. The staff was friendly and very accommodating. The room was spacious and the views were beautiful. It was both family friendly and enjoyable for adults.
