The Sapporo Prince is part of the Prince Hotel group which manages some of the finest hotels in Japan. This hotel is located away from most of the action but is close enough that it is not an inconvenience. I stayed in the standard room and it was clean and roomy especially by Japanese standards. I can imagine that the upgraded rooms must be very nice. The rooms come with flat screen tv's and free wired/wireless internet access. Mini-Fridge, hot pot and spacious bathrooms with deep soaking tubs make the hotel room a home away from home. The best feature of the hotel is spa with an outside soaking area, pure bliss.

Superb location. Very convenient as it just next to JR station. After going out for the day, you would have love to get back to the room to rest without having to waste time taking another transport. Easy acess to shopping and food. Will definitely stay there again.

Arrived late by bus after travelling 16 hours. Had trouble finding the entrance from the main Street and then found they had no record of our booking.
The extra bed requested and paid for was not ready . We found the beds too small and the extra beds were rustic at best.
Very dissapointed to find the Gym and pool was not free and was going to cost $40 per head for a visit : no thanks .
Breakfast were spectacularly good, staff were polite and helpfull but some serious sytem problems here.
