“Basic but warm and clean.”

This was the only hotel in Chalon with avaiability on the night that I was there (the other hotels were fully booked because it was Friday the 13th and there was an international Tarot Convention in town!). The hotel is only one minute's walk from the station and therefore very handy. Despite it being a very cold night, the room was warm and very clean. The shower was excellent. I slept well but the double matress was both small and old and I wouldn't have wanted to take my wife there.
