“"A Relaxing Stay"”

This cute hotel was near most sites we enjoyed visiting. My husband and I would recommend this quiet, quaint hotel. Have a good time in Macon, France - we did!

Area recommendations

I would recommend the area to see near the river and the wineries. Also, visit the old Wooden House and shops and restaurants nearby. Wished we could have stayed longer!

When to go

Please visit Macon, France in July or August when tours go to the wine country. This is something we did not know before our visit!

“3 jours dans la région de Macon.”

Bon confort des chambre et salle de bains pour un 2 étoiles. Parking peu pratique et petit ( 15 places pour 50 chambres ) emplacement de l'hotel dans un quartier populaire. Proximité des rues commerçantes et des quais du fleuve. Bien dans l'ensemble.

Area recommendations

Cluny, Saint christophe en Brionnais le mercredi jour du marchè aux bestiaux Digoin, promenade en bateau.

Dining

A Macon, je vous conseille le restaurant l'Ethym'Sel 10 rue Gambetta. l'accueil est très sympa les plats sont de qualité et bien présentés, notamment les désserts.

un parking pitoyable à l'image d'un accueil plus que mediocre. une chambre fonctionnelle mais tres petite avec une etage à monter à pied. l'hotel ne merite pas ses 2 etoiles. il est vieillissant.

“Hotel sympa”

Un peu de mal à trouver car ravalement de façade en cours mais hotel sympathique idéalement situé près du centre ville. Chambre "grand confort" avec un lit king size tres agréable, la déco du hall est bien sympathique, celle des chambres est un peu vieillote. Petit déjeu non testé. Bon Rapport qualité prix.
