Front office staff spoke English but could have been nicer. Room was clean and comfortable but the hotel was under construction. My credit card was charged 2x; overall it was clean and nice.

Nice apart hotel close to Morumbi
The hotel is about 50 min away from Guarulhos Int. Airport (without traffic though) in the Chácara Santo Antonio neighbourhood, very close to Morumbí and full of business offices. Attention was good, room was very comfortable and had a kitchenette of it's own, so you can buy groceries in the nearby Carrefour (one block away) and cook for yourself, if you are on a budget. Food from the room service is quite good. The hotel also has a roof top pool / gym / sauna / terrace, with a good view of sao Paulo's southwest. I chose this hotel because it is somewhat near Interlagos (the race track in which the Brazilian GP takes place - 15 min away in Metro), near a metro station, near a mall (Morumbi Shopping) and a supermarket, and near Morumbi, which is a very nice upscale neighbourhood in the city.

Disgusting
The room was very dirty, with stained carpets, worn furniture, and the bathroom shower stall was so dirty you couldn't see through the glass. The sheets had little black dots all over. We did not stay - we left immediately to look for another hotel. This Mercure was too disgusting to spend even one night.

Overpriced hotel, result of a overcrowded and overpriced city: what else can you expect? $100 per night for that hotel is an insult to the intelligence and budget of any traveler, but Sao Paulo is by itself a crazy place.

Average hotel, very clean, not the best location
Room was very clean, location was not great. Service was good, staff was kind, although any extra requests took a very long time and needed 2 or 3 phone calls to reception, but i find this to be standard in any of the Mercure hotels.

Staff on Receptions are great!. Technical support when Internet issue raised was ok too. Only element to improve is the noisy air condition. It will require change or maintenance.

Basic Hotel-Basic Services But Ok
Basic hotel that has full kitchens-a big plus since there is a large grocery story within two blocks. Hotel is not centrally located. Few restaurants within walking distance. The area looks a bit iffy but I walked at night without concern. The rooms are large and a bit worn but clean. Hotel staff speaks some English enogh to get buy. Everyone is very friendly. The breakfast is not worth it and really not all that good. The cereal was so stale you could bend the cereal flakes. I enjoyed the fact you could open windows and the aea was quiet. The shower was awesome-like a fire hose. Two single beds but comfortable. Reasonable price was a factor

Rooms are a little small, specially if sharing. They have a kitchenette, but we did not use it at all. Shower is great! Breakfast is very good. 10 min cab ride to Transmaerica Expo Center. Surrounding neighborhood is packed with offices so there are "excecutive lunch" menus all over the place.

YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR
OVER RATED HOTEL; NOT REALLY NOT AS CLOSE TO THE CONVENTION CENTER AS DESCRIBED. NO ONE SPOKE ENGLISH THEIR TELEPHONE DIDN'T WORK, RECEPTION DOESN'T ANWER THE PHONE, THEY KEEP YOU ON HOLD FOR 20 MINUTES AND THEN HANG UP. WILL NEVER STAY HERE AGAIN.

The room was a decent size, the bed very comfortable. I found the room to only be lacking in having some mold in the bathroom, and no iron/board in the closet. The food from room service was great but a bit high in price. The area has many good choices for dining, but not at night time. The staff was also very helpful with each need.

The hotel boasts 'fully equipped kitchen' which included a few pans, minimal utensils and cutlery etc... not in any way fully equipped, not even able to make tea or coffee in the room... unless you buy all the necessary stuff yourself! 'Free wifi' in the rooms is hit and miss, I had to get the floor router restarted to gain access on my first day, and it wasn't reliable so I pretty much gave up after that and just accessed when signal was strong enough! One huge surprise was that I wasn't able to print my airline online check in details in the hotel anywhere.... when I asked if someone at the hotel could do it for me I was told 'no, that website is blocked, check in at the airport' by the female receptionist ( i cant believe that an airline website would be blocked in a hotel), who was surly and unhelpful. Having said that the male receptionists were much more helpful, and one suggested where I could go to find an internet cafe, which is what I did eventually. THANK YOU BRUNO! Having said all this, the room was clean and comfortable, and the hotel felt safe, no visitors are allowed in unannounced. Room cleaning tended to be very late afternoon, usually the time when I was returning to the room to nap or eat, so a couple of days there was no room cleaning as a result.. Overall an ok place to stay!

Can do better.
We booked 2 rooms 2 months ahead of our stay but when we arrived there was confusion about what we had booked. we ended up on different floors and one room was a smokers room despite requesting non smoking. It was very noisy at night. The food was good. The day reception staff were helpful and friendly.

Hotel is OK, location is great, near to mall and other amenities. Personnel was great and very helpful. In the area there are other hotel options at same price level with better / newer rooms.

Boa hospedagem Uma questão é que quando chegamos não tinha fila de prioridade para o check-in. A fila estava grande deixamos as malas e fomos almoçar fora para retornar e fazer o check-in mais tarde
