OK Hotel, poor fitness center

Posted 05-Feb-2014
Pros: The breakfast included iwth the stay was very good.
Cons: The fitness center needs updating.
The gym is extremely dissappointing. I have never seen equipment so old. The pools is about the size of a hot tub.

Good for short business stay

Posted 05-Dec-2013
Pros: The staff are excellent!!!
Cons: Rooms could use a happier colour scheme. They feel dated. Sound proofing next to the elevator would also help.
Location: Great location. Near shops, restaurants, bars. Walking distance to Paulista Avenue and metro but still in a quiet street.
Other reviews praise the staff and the breakfast. Staff are excellent! Breakfast is good and comparable with most hotels in Sao Paulo that are in the same range. The rooms are small and feel a little dated. This was my 7th hotel in Sao Paulo in the last 2 years and surprisingly came out to be the most expensive. Again, staff were the best out of those 7 but the rooms would be in the bottom half of my list. If you need a lot of hotel staff support, this hotel is for you. Loud guests knocking on doors in the middle of the night and poor sound insulation, especially near the elevator were not nice at all.

Excellent, helpful staff

Where they found these people, I don't know, but they sure didn't work for another SP hotel before. They were extraordinarily helpful. And the breakfast was better than most all other SP hotels of this category.

Good hotel and a great experience

Our 3 nights stay in this hotel was enjoyable. The mini suite is spacious with modern decorated furniture. Felt cozy and comfortable. The service was top notch and they made every possible attempt to answer to our needs. The breakfast buffet is rich and tasty. Most importantly, the hotel is located in the center of town next to Avenida Paulista, within walking distance to the metro and the art museum.

Great service, room, breakfast, location

Posted 18-Dec-2012 on Hotels.com
I stayed at this hotel for two nights on business. I found the staff to be helpful, the rooms clean, and the breakfast fantastic. The workout center was a little small with old machines, but the treadmill worked, so no complaints here. The location was great, as you can walk out the door and be on the subway in 15 minutes, and as a single woman, I felt fine walking alone during the day or night.

Beautiful Boutique Hotel in Sao Paulo

Posted 16-Oct-2012
Pros: The staff.
Cons: Slow complimentary internet speed
Location: Excellent location.
This hotel was excellent. The staff - very eager to help you in any way. Breakfast setting - very nice, outside in a tropical setting. I would stay here again. My first stay in Sao Paulo and honestly, would not try another. It was that good. Only downside, if you consider it a downside, internet speed was slow but it was complimentary! Jardins area (where hotel is located) - excellent. Much around.

Ideal Location

Posted 26-Sep-2012 on Hotels.com
This was my first visit to San Paulo and the hotel was a perfect location for the conference I was attending @ the Hotel Intercontinental, the staff were friendly andspoke English, the room was comfortable and clean. The breakfast buffet was more than satisfactory with a large range of both local and international cuisine. I would recommend this to anyone who wanted a value for money hotel whilst visiting Sao Paulo on business.

Good hotel for good price!

Posted 10-Sep-2012
Pros: Friendly and helpful staff. Front desk staff spoke English well.
Cons: The bathroom was sort of old looking.
Location: It is a good location, yet even in Avenue Paulista neighbourhood it was dirty and not as safe as Canada.
Overall, a very good stay for a reasonable price. The breakfast was very good, also.
