“super and personal service from all staff”

staff was really service minded, remembered your favorites in the restaurants! Brought you cost free cold towels, fresh fruit and water at the pools and the beach! Atmosphere was good probably because the management was good!

“Great Experience for an American Expat Family Vacation”

Based on written reviews plus feedback from friends who had stayed at the Hilton last year, we decided to spend five nights here in March 2011. My wife and I brought our three boys (7, 4, and 4). We got two deluxe rooms that were adjoining and booked at a special rate via Expedia. The pools are great. Lots of options that cater to all age types. Two are pools with sandy beaches, giving you an opportunity to be on the hotel main grounds but at the 'beach' in a protected way. There are a couple mild water slides that provide a nice change a couple times during the day for the kids. The outdoor bar serves food and drink at all hours. Food was actually very good. A bit pricey but not what I would consider inconsistent with any hotel restaurant at a 4-5 star resort. Great kids menu that is reasonably affordable. Quality of food was excellent. The rooms include breakfast and they do an outstanding job...it was really good variety and quality. Dinner options were limited, so we often went outside the hotel. The beach was great but the accomodations were a bit tight. Other hotels had more space between their loungers. We did take several walks to other locations to check out other hotels. Marriott, Ritz, Mangrove, Sheraton. All were nice but not one had me thinking I wish I would have stayed there...with perhaps the exception of the Ritz. That had a more refined feel to it and we at dinner at two of their restaurants. Ovreall, very pleased with choice!

Dining

There is a great dumpling restaurant on the second floor in the shopping plaza adjacent to the Crowne Plaza in Sanya. A great spot for lunch with the family.

“3* hotel with 5* prices”

After our busy business trip in China I with my collegues decided to have a weekend in Sanya. I was there few years ago in a neighbour hotel and this time I propose to stay in Hilton Sanya Resort&Spa which was recommended by my friend in 2008. I placed big hopes to have a great days there. But with my first steps in hotel I was disappointed. Toneless lobby, very shabby interiors, not very clean room, broken showers at the beach... a lot of things was irritate there. Аt the same time there are inadequate very high prices to stay and services. Money isn't a problem for me but my time is very expensive. I used and expected to get much more there. I woldn't recommend anybody to stay in this hotel.

Area recommendations

Yalong Bay district is best place to be in Sanya. There are good hotels, quite atmosphere, clean sea.

“Ideal für Relaxurlaub”

Dieses Hotel kann man jedem empfehlen der sich richtig erholen möchte.Das Hotel bietet eine schöne Poollandschaft, aber auch einen super Strand. Englisch spricht in diesem Hotel fast das ganze Personal, was in China nicht gerade üblich ist. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Wir haben uns in diesem Hotel sehr wohl gefühlt und würden es jederzeit wieder buchen.

Traveller's tip

Fährt man mit dem Taxi vom Flughafen zum Hotel, "bieten" einem viele Fahrer "Sondertarife" zum Hotel. Darauf auf keinen Fall einlassen, da diese oft das dreifache von dem verlangen was die eigentliche Fahrt kosten würde. Immer darauf achten dass das Taximeter umgelegt wird.
