“Crowne is very solid”

There are plenty of restaurants in this area. The beach isn't that far away from the hotel. If you don't necessarily need the hotel to be on the beach, then this is a good place to stay at.

“Nice vacation spot”

Good hotel, lots of food choices for meals, the drink prices are pretty high. There is a great place on the grounds called X Bartender which has great drinks for 50% less than hotel prices. At the beach and the pool it is almost impossible to get a lawn chair, so be ready to lay on the sand or the concrete. It was also difficult to find a clean towel for the beach and pool, a lot of people were using their bathroom towels. One past review mentioned the sewage smell and it is true - in our room and at the pool you would get a whiff every once and a while. Each room has private balconies with sliding glass doors which is a plus. Also, if you have a laptop they offer free broadband internet in your room.

Getting there
Cab drivers will want you to agree on a price before getting in the cab. It costs 80 RMB with the meter, they will start negotiating at 120.

“Definitely 5 stars !”

Excellent hotel...good food...upscale room...perfect location. Everything was top-notch with one small exception...the bathroom, although lavish in design had a slight smell of sewage probably coming from the floor drain. Hate to mention this because everything else could not have been better.
