I really enjoyed my stay in this property. It was clean and with everything you need. The best part is the location, amazing views and in the middle of everything. The owners were very nice and the breakfast was great, served in their cafe restaurant overlooking the caldera. I highly recommend this place

Breakfast was two eggs and old crunchy bread. It took 20 min for them to ask us if we wanted breakfast because they were prioritizing customers paying in the cafe. wont return here. The reception clerk was nice and the property was situated in a nice area but that’s about it. The room was fine and clean too

We were so lucky to come across the Vallas Villas for our honeymoon. It's ran by the Vallas family and they were such an amazing bunch of people to deal with. We've had so many issues with our flight from Canada, but Despina worked and communicated with me day in and day out. Our package included premium breakfast (only for the villa) and it was delicious! We explored the whole island and the hotel is the best location for everything, especially the sunset view. Thank you Vallas family for making our stay amazing!

Perfect for young couple. Excellent housekeeping.
The view of our room is amazing. We can see the Santorini sunset every day. The hotel is also in a perfect location: you can walk 10 mins to Thira. We want to thank especially the housekeeper Daniela who gave us surprises every day (see pictures). The reception is very helpful. The staff are friendly and nice. The pool and rooftop terrace for the guests are decent.

From arrival to departure the family and staff were very friendly, helpful and couldn’t do enough for us. The breakfast was excellent and the apartment was cleaned every day with fresh towels daily. The views were stunning Myself and my husband would highly recommend this property

Amazing view and great cost
We had the best time in Santorini. Great view and fresh breakfast. The real view and size of the actual room is way better and bigger than pictures. We enjoyed to sit at our balcony to see the sunset that’s what expensive restaurants charge for but you can have your own right out of the room or huge public areas. Highly recommended.

I am a long-term and active user of Expedia, and I book hotels through Expedia all the time. Here is how I rate my experience at Vallas Apartment: Pros: 1-Great location, right in the middle of the Fira Neighbourhood 2- good view when using the restaurant or the jacuzzi area that is for all guests Cons: 1-THE ROOM- when I was doing my research to book my hotel in Santorini, based on my budget, I found few options. One of them was Vallas Apartment, which had a reasonable rate per night. However, the room that I wanted to book had only one picture on Expedia, but based on the experience that I have had with Expedia I went ahead and booked the room for two nights. When I showed up at the place and saw the room, the room was super dark, with no windows and right in the middle of the public area. No privacy and near the restaurant bathroom. I asked for a different room but they told me I don’t have that option unless upgrading the room. On Expedia, you could see that I can book the better room for 20 Euro More, but the hotel mentioned that they can not do that and they can upgrade for 60 Euro extra. Which was absolutely ridiculous. I escalated the issue through Expedia but since I was already checked in, if Expedia upgrade my room for 20 euros more per night, the hotel would charge me a penalty of around 230 euro. So I ended up taking the bullet and upgrading the room for 60 euro extra through the hotel reception. A very poor experience, the first room was not in a condition

In regards to the rates of the upgrade we cannot comment on that as we provided the rate we provide also in expedia, so we cannot really know how it comes up expedia having less rates from what we are selling to them, but of course we will also check that issue

The hotel was great! They coordinated our pickup at the airport which was extremely helpful considering we had big bags with us. Walking up the hills or taking a bus would have been a nightmare.

Good value in great location!
This accommodation is in a perfect location. The Hotel staff is extremely nice and accommodating and they served a wonderful morning breakfast. The only criticism is that the WiFi is not that strong so it is hard to use.

Amazing view and great suite
A really nice place to stay. We had a suite in a rock, so it was basically a cave with pleasant accommodations inside and a hot tube with the view on Caldeira and the volcano on the top. The tube was shared for two suites: ours and the neighbor’s. It was a bit tricky to get to the apparents for the first time but the view and the vintage vibe inside the suite is worth it, overall.the service was great and they allowed us to leave the luggage after checking out due to we had a late departure flight, as well as allowed us to stay at the Vallas shared pool. They also assisted us a lot when we needed that and we’re really grateful for that! ❤️

Beautiful view, clean hotel, spacious room , strong shower and very smell good shampoo and body wash 17 minutes walk to the main bus station is the only down side, going up to the hotel is terrible. I hope the hotel offers pick up from the bus stop is nice especially when we first arrived with luggage

Great location
This hotel is located at the best spot for sunset, walking around looking at the caldera. Really amazing views, we enjoyed it a lot. And all the staff vás very kind. Unfortunately not much else in the property is that amazing. Breakfast is poor (2 dry scrambled eggs or yogurt and watered down coffee), the beds are very hard and uncomfortable and barely doubles. We didn't sleep well there. The room is cold though, we didn't need air-conditioning during our stay there at all (summer), and it's also very quiet. We stayed in the family room which can accommodate up to 5 people, it has a semi private patio too. With some improvement it could be a really great place to stay

Check in was easy but as seniors having to drag suitcases from drop off point to room was not ideal. Staff were for the most part accommodating with our requests. Daniella, our house keeper was awesome and did a great job of keeping our room clean and fresh! The breakfast that was provided was excellent as was the wait staff in the Vallas Cafe. We enjoyed the roof top terrace everyday (mostly we had it to ourselves) and watched the beautiful sunsets there with a beverage or two. All in all - great stay!

Amazing view... but little else
The property is a bit run down. There were a bunch of small bugs in the room, the tub was very unclean, the WiFi was spotty. The TV was also old and the remote control didn’t work, so we had no tv for 1 night, which wasn’t awful but still we expected at least the appliances to work. The worst was that the water was very murky straight from the tap. We bought bottled water just to brush our teeth because of this. The front end staff was pleasant, both Alex and Despina(?). They were kind and accommodating. The waiter at the Vallas Cafe was very unhelpful, however. He even spilled a drink on me and still had an attitude when I asked for extra napkins later during the meal. He said that napkins were with the bread but I obviously had to use them up cause of the drink he spilled on me! He’s just not a pleasant person to deal with over all. The saving grace of this property is the view. It was unreal from our room and the property overall. Just gorgeous. That, however is NOT enough for me to consider this property in the future. Many others beside it with probably better amenities and overall condition... and similar views!

Great apart from the pool/hot tub
Vallas apartments was a great, relatively budget-friendly option for a stay on the caldera. Firostefani is a good location to explore the island - central enough but out of the way/quieter at the same time (15 minute walk to Fira and a 20 minute walk to the central Fira bus station). There was free breakfast each morning, which was a lovely surprise. The rooms are nice and clean, and we were upgraded to a larger room with 2 balconies without asking. The man who works in reception was very friendly and we had a nice conversation with him for about a half hour about Santorini and Greece in general. The rooftop area was beautiful and a perfect place to watch the sunset (don’t bother going all the way up to Oia, it’s much too crowded). The only complaint I have is that the pool/hot tub was cloudy and full of small floating debris. We did not feel comfortable swimming in it, which is a shame because that’s one of the reasons I chose this place was for the pool option. If they cleaned this up, it would be 5 stars in my book.

Great place to stay with terrific views!
The location of this property and views from its terrace are exceptional. The breakfast is ok and the rooms are clean and spacious. The host, Alexander is exceptionally courteous and goes to great lengths with his recommendations on how to navigate your trip. We would highly recommend this place and would love to stay here again.
