“The most friendly place in the sun”

Hotel is in a great situation, tumbling down the cliffs at almost the highest point of the caldera. Our room had its own balcony and even from the bed we had fantastic views out over the caldera. Lots of steps to negotiate (but same as everywhere else on the cliffs..) and very small pool. Hotel decor slightly in need of refreshment. Wonderful, friendly and extremely helpful staff. Can't praise them highly enough for really making our stay special, especially with advice on places to go and things to do. Breakfast good and runs till late - no evening meals but small and very basic kitchenette in room.

One of the best hotels we have stayed in...the views from the top are to be seen to be believed! The staff are very friendly and most helpful -- particularly Kosta, Yanni and Stella. Do not forget to have the Spanakopita or spinach pie which Yanni makes. Imerovigli is just 5 Euros from the capital Fira town of a 25 mins brisk walk. Very romantic place for newly weds or for renewing your vows :-)

“The Friendliest Hotel We Have Stayed In”

We stayed at the hotel for 9 nights and enjoyed a very relaxing holiday. The hotel is in a beautiful setting and has a lot of character. Our room was very spacious and comfortable with a living area, kitchenette, bedroom, bathroom and private balcony with a stunning un-interupted view of the sea and sunsets. The staff at the Heliotopos are extremely friendly and accommodating and go out of their way to make you feel welcome - we felt more like friends than guests. There is a good selection of fresh food at breakfast - and is served until 11. Take a walk from the gate along the cobbled cliff path into Thira, it's a beautiful half hour walk.

This hotel was our last stop on an extended holiday and was a perfect way to wind down in a spectacularly located hotel where the service was first class.

Beautiful relaxing hotel in great location between Fira and Oia.Rooms were clean and comfortable with spectacular views.Be prepared for plenty of steps in and around hotel though and if you decide to hire a car especially in August take care,the roads are manic! Only one fault to say about this hotel ,the day we were leaving we checked out at midday and our flight wasnt until the evening.The hotel was fully booked and they had no spare room available for us to shower and change before the flight home which i thought was dissapointing for 4 star accommodation.All in all though excellent hotel in a beautiful location.

“Beautiful views, excellent service”

We could not be happier with this hotel. We arrived two days late from our reservation date, due to delays and strikes at the airports. We were upset we would lose those days at the hotel, but when we arrived we explained our situation and they gladly moved our dates, to stay the number of days we had already paid for. Additionally, the entire staff was very friendly and helpful, they did special restaurant reservations, arranged for a car rental, and provided ideas, suggestions and recommendations to make the most of our stay in Santorini. Our room had a beautiful view and double balcony, it was always clean. The breakfast was delicious and included fresh made orange juice. The hotel is located at a good spot because it's in Imerovigli, which is in between the two main cities of Fira and Oia, so you could choose to go one way or another. Our final positive note is, we left behind our iPhone (charging at the hotel) and we realized it until we were already in a ferry on our way to Athens. We immediately called the hotel, they found the phone and mailed it to us next day to our hotel in Athens, at no charge.

“Quintessential Santorini”

A lovely quintessential Santorini Hotel. The staff was overly helpful and friendly, the location was convenient, and the views were stunning. As an example of their helpfulness, they offered to put together a box breakfast for us when finding out our very early departure flight.

“Great Hotel”

The hotel is great, the views are breathtaking that's probably the best feature, I still think it was a little overpriced since I saw some packages in Athens that included the ferry and hotel for a price way below. The staff is really helpful and although the rooms are somewhat small, they are functional and cozy. It's a great place if you want to relax and soak in some sun. The pool is tiny. The breakfast is great.
