Located on the eastern coast, right on the seaside. Easy access to all other villages - we rented a quadbike, which the hotel staff can help you with. Very clean rooms, with sheets and towels being changed daily. No soaps/shampoo in room, but easy to get to shop to buy this. The beds are VERY hard, as are the pillows. Very friendly family-run business.

We were looking for a reasonably priced accomodation that was close to the beach and all of the amenities that Perivolos had to offer, I am pleased to say that the Blue Diamond Bay Hotel didn't disapoint! As there was a double room available we opted to take that rather than a twin and I would recommend this as it was slightly bigger and more spacious. Our apartment was basic but as we didn't spend much time in there this was fine for us. It was nice and clean and towels and sheets were changed everyday. The pool area is lovely and there is now a bar at the front so whilst you don't have a sea view you do have drinks and snacks available all day and late into the evening. The beach is opposite the apartments and for us the best thing about this accomodation was the customer service. All members of the team were helpful, friendly and happy to help us with any questions we had. They offer a service that if you buy food / drink you can use the sun loungers for free. Your food / drink was always delivered to you on the beach with a smile. I would recommend this hotel / apartment to couples or people who are after a chilled / relaxing break. The nightlife was pretty quiet but that may have just been because we were there in September.

“Excellent Value, Some Issues”

First the good: The location along Perissa beach is excellent. Black volcanic sand right across the street with hotel provided umbrellas and loungers for tanning. The local area has a great nightlife and although it is nowhere near the caldera, you can stay for cheap and travel to see the sites and eat like a king with the money you saved. The hotel bar is facing right onto the beach and has food service and drinks until the wee hours of the night, which is very convenient, and the staff is very accommodating - we charged all our drinks and food to our room, which meant I could leave my money behind. The hotel pool is excellent as well. The water was clean and the pool areas well maintained. The rooms are comfortable, if spartan, but well-maintained. Now the bad: The breakfast was very basic. Bread and jam, some unknown cereal and yogurt. After one try, I had a nice omelet or other breakfast food at the hotel bar instead. We had a problem with our air conditioner where it only blew on a very low fan setting, and although they tried they were unable to fix it. This meant that sleeping was H.O.T. and uncomfortable. Also, I don't know if it was an oversight, but there was no soap provided in the room. Towels are skin-shreddingly rough, but otherwise everything was fine. OVERALL: a good value choice. Nothing wrong with it and you will be happy with the money you save. The location is great and if you rent a car or moto you can see what you want in Santorini

“Terrific Hospitality, very relaxing; wonderful atmosphere”

From the greeting at the port until the farewells at the airport, the hotel staff was wonderful; they treated us like family. They had great staff. Location was just what we were looking for too...on the beach and away from all of the hustling tourists. Also, the staff had good connections with car rental companies, so getting around to the famous sights was easy and cheap. It was quiet, peaceful, and beautiful. We strongly recommend this hotel to any one interested in relaxing on Santorini Island.

“Oceanview”

Because I was probably their first guest of the holiday season I was given the best room. At the front of the hotel with an ocean view from the main floor and loft. Everything about my stay was excellent, the staff/owners were very helpful with directions around the island and also helping me get a rental car (a must if you want to go anywhere other than your hotel). The only negative thing that I could say is I ordered a pizza and the sauce was ketchup- enough said. Also,18 euro set fair with taxi from airport.

Great location. Top notch, friendly service! Wi-Fi was not reliable, but it gave you more of an excuse to hit the beach or explore the island more!

“Unforgettable experience”

Was initially surprised that no one was there at the reception when I went to check in at around 9 PM... and it was almost deserted ... but the receptionist left a sweet note to me with the room number.... and it was open and ready for us. Room was very nice and neat and beach view was stunning.... Overall had an unforgettable experience.

“Lovely hotel”

This hotel was lovely and very close to the beach - the only problem was our room seemed to back onto the hotel storeroom, as every night and early morning we were woken by the sounds of clunking and clanging as equipment was being moved/dropped.
