This hotel is literally closed to everything! The staff is super nice, the room was excellent. Breakfast is included, so that's a huge plus. I will certainly stay here next time. I knew it was going to be good, but not that good!!! Loved it!

The room, which they called a “royal suite”, was poorly furnished. We don’t even have where to charge our phones. As a workaround we asked for an extension cord to connect it on an outlet behind the bed. They told us they will bring the cord. They later told us the cable was broken and no solution was provided. Personnel, especially in the cafeteria, was gracious and helpful.

Nice hotel in the center of the historic city. A lot of restaurants and bars near by. You don’t need to use car. Everything is in a walking distance

I started staying at the Caribe Colonial Hodelpa about 12 years ago. The staff was always a strong point, and still is. The facilities needed work. Finally, the facilities are very comfortable. The bathrooms have been redesigned and refitted. The Wi-Fi is solid, and the televisions are new. The rooms are small still, but very comfortable. After staying at other hotels and Airbnbs, I'll be choosing this hotel more consistently.

The area is not so big but comfy, we didn't find a place to plug in our cellphones to charge them and even tho it has a parking lot personnel doesn't help you to get in/out of them taking into consideration that it is very tiny and they put all the vehicles in a tight position

Quaint hotel that is extremely well located in the Zona Colonial. Close to all tourist local attractions and about three blocks from the supermarket (Supermercados Colonial in Conde Street) where you'll find nearly everything you need. The pharmacy (Carol) is one block away. Front staff are wonderful. If you have a room facing the street IT WILL be noisy until the wee hours of the morning even on weekdays, so it's not for light sleepers. Nearly all good restaurants are a block away (Jaleo, Buche Perico, Nacan). Next door to a wonderful gelato place called Valentino. This is not a resort-type hotel, just the basics.
