“Worst i have ever seen by far!!!!!!!”
I don't have words to describe my stay at this resort. By far it was the worst place I have ever stayed in. The staff was very inconsiderate and the rooms were falling apart. We had to change our first room because of mosquito and a very foul odor. When we got to our second room there were no mosquito and no odor, but the air condition was leaking and there was no blanket. After requesting a blanket for 2 straight days they finally brought one at 11pm they night before check out and the best part was that it had a blood stain on it. Along with many other things this place was like hell.
“Great Beach but nothing else!”
This hotel has the potential of being a 5 star hotel but. The beds and pillows are hard and itchy, they should invest in some softer mattresses and down pillows. The faucet was leaking because it seemed very old and corroded. A few new faucets would go a long way. No hot water. While I'm in the tropics I like a hot or at lease warm shower. There is no room service except for an unaffiliated restaurant that stats about noon. I hate having to wake up eary and run to have a breakfast really far away from my room. I like breakfast in my room, maybe on the balcony, while I get dressed and then I'm ready for my day in the sun. This hotel is an all inclusive but to get a reservation at one of the available restaurants you have to reserve 24 hours ahead betweem the hours of 8am and 10am and in person. Really!!! I'm on vacation!. When you do get up early and make a mad dash to the lobby to reserve, they will tell you it's full and you need to come back or eat at the buffet restaurant that is open everyday. Not Good. But if want to drink all day at a really nice beach and eat elsewhere and so forth It's great. Oh! but they don't have nice straw beach umbrellas instead they have these wood structures with draping fabric where you have to share space with strangers if you don"t want to roast in the sun. The Staff is really nice.
“Worst Place We've Ever Stayed!!!!!!!”
PLEASE, If you’re expecting a resort along the lines of Sandals, Beaches or Couples resort, this IS NOT the place to go. The lobby was dirty, furniture was ripped & torn. Cigarette butts all over the floor & the cleaning crew had not come around for 3 hours! We walked across the street & away from the main building where there was no security just to get to our room! Once in the room, there were no comforters on the bed, handles on the dresser were broken off, there were no light fixtures (just light bulbs) & they had dust & dirt all over them, couldn’t flush toilet paper or the toilet would clog, the shower curtain was ripped and the lock on the door to keep you secure and safe was also broken off & just hanging on the door. All of that was just in our FIRST room. We requested a new room and while we waited, we went down to the “24 hour snack bar”. Lettuce was swimming in water, tomatoes were green, burgers & hot dogs were shriveled and dry & we had to serve ourselves on STYROFOAM PLATES! None of the food was covered, there were flies & bugs all over the food. We had to hunt down the GM to get things sorted out; he said that we were “attacking him” and that he didn’t know that the rooms were in that condition. The hotel is right on the harbor but was photo shopped out of the pictures on their website. We were told that we couldn’t get the nice rooms that were on the website. No pictures online of our room. After a total of 8 hours we moved to a resort in Punta Cana.
“HAMACA”
Check in is a ridiculous slow and absurd process never experienced before. They filled up at least 4 different paper forms for me with carbon copies of each one and at ckeck out time was even worst without people in line!! If you want to eat at the restaurants, you have to sing the day before, otherwise no show. The buffet was still a good option and the food was OK. The pool was unavailable due to cleaning half of the time we were there. The place must be under new managment that only cares to take as much money as they can form their customers with the little stuff, money for this, money for that, with a total lack of vision as they will scare away new clients for sure. The entire place is outdated, hard beds, terrible pillows, hot water comes and goes. With exception of the people at the registration desk, workers were in general very helpful and friendly. I will definitly not go back again nor I will recomend it ...
“It was just wat we were looking for”
The hotel was great, 20 mins from the airport in santo domingo and we had no need to leave the resort- food was great, the reservation situation is a pain but with the buffet and snack bar, we could've cared less- fun place for kids, our son was the first one out the door everyday- would have been great if there were a pool or jacuzzi open at night, all were being treated at night- we got along great with staff because we speak spanish fluently but non spanish speakers seemed to be having fun too- the room was beautiful, slight oxidation in the tub but ive heard thats to be expected by the beach- we came back tanned and relaxed!!! couldn't have asked for more, especially for the low price!!!!! plan on going back soon!!!!
“Be Live Hamaca - Bad Customer Service”
The location for this hotel worked for our trip because it was close to our family/friends, close to the city and also provided a nice beach location. However, the customer service for this hotel was horrible. We had difficulty making dinner reservations. We had to make requests multiple times for things like clean towels in our room. In order to get anything done, you need a manager.....which was difficult to find most of the time. Upon checkout, they needed a receipt before they would refund our room deposit. The staff was rude at the check in desk, guest services and the spa.
“Don't waste your money!”
Rooms are a dump. Roaches...No hot water half the time. The hotel shows nice pic online.....those are only a few rooms....and they're always sold out.
“Not impressed”
Hotel rooms are horrible.
“Not recommend”
Try other hotel
“Don't Book!”
SAD to say BUT The Service was the worst! Wouldn't go back! The room was OK but I had to get an upgrade! The only good thing is the beach and Pool.
