This was an amazing hotel in Florence with truly a history and stylish feel to its ambiance. It was walkable to any major attraction. The daily breakfast (included in the stay) was outstanding with yogurt, croissants, prosciutto and ham, home-made scrambled eggs and bacon - couldnt ask for more with your pick of any of the house specialty espressos or coffees. The staff were friendly and always willing to lend a hand when needed. The staff coordinated pick up and logistics for the attractions within and outside of Florence we wanted to explore.
Overall, an amazing stay and we would stay again in a heart beat.
Pleasant helpful front desk. Free wifi - my international adaptor purchased in US only worked bathroom outlet. Room38 lovely but windows don't open. I always like fresh air. Overall very good experience. Would recommend & book in the future

From the moment we entered the hotel we were greeted and were made to feel welcome. Our room was ready for us, it was clean and had a beautiful fresco in the ceiling. Breakfast was presented in a nice way and the staff went out of its way to cater to our special dietary needs.
At first we felt as though we were away from the action, however short walks or bus rides took us to everywhere we needed to go. (tip, wear comfortable shoes there is plenty to see.) The Hotel was close to public transport and was clean and comfortable. The staff were excellent and extremely helpfull.
What can I say what a location literally next to the Duomo, one bedroom apartment with kitchen/living area one bathroom with large shower. We were a party of 3 girls so the bathroom was busy, a full mirror in the bedroom would have been perfect. Kitchen was well equipped but we ate out so didn't really use but a tea towel would be handy to wipe up glasses etc..be prepared for the bells ringing at 6ish each morning, plus it's on the route to the hospital so sirens are a regular occurrence..
San Marco is a church and monastery set in Florence, dating back to the 15th century. The most notable aspects of San Marco are the frescos by Fra Angelico, a much-revered Renaissance painter. A museum is on site, and tours are available.
