“20 minutes walk from nearest restaurant.”

“Very Pleased”

We were very pleased with our stay at the Los Espanoles. We received quality accommodations at a reasonable price. The breakfast buffet offered healthy and nutritious options and other meals were very good as well. The air conditioning served us well during a very hot period of the month. The hotel was also very helpful in arranging transport to and from t he airport. We would highly recommend this lodging, as far as we were concenrned, it's services met that of a four star level hotel .

“VERY Disappointed!!”

Its in a residential neighborhood close to the Providencia District. During the day its a nice several block or 10 minute walk, but at night its a very dangerous trek as locals told me. They advised me to take only cabs to and from after 21:00. The hotel claims its all perfectly safe and in the best area blah, blah, blah... A housekeeper walked in to my room with her pass-key without knocking! I complained to the hotel staff and they claimed it was a mistake but didn't want to admit its done on their property routinely because I hear it done to the rooms next to me later. The house keeper later did come and apologized which was nice but again didn't understand that in hotels entry to rooms, even the unoccupied are preceded by knocking! The WiFi is a joke! It comes and goes and will not allow you to do any work if you require the internet from your room. Again I asked about the WiFi service and was told by the evening front desk guy that that's just the way it was always and nothing can be done about it!!! Breakfast was nice but EVERYTHING cooked has pork (something not everybody eats for a variety of reasons!). The Eggs both type have pork, the hash-brown potatoes have pork also, and the cold meats of course are also pork. Nice home-made sweets backed. The older Front Desk Manager usually there during the day was the ONLY professional staff person. He made check-in and check-out smooth and efficient and nothing was too much trouble for him.

Area recommendations

There are better choices in the Providencia Area and in the City Center!

“Very impressive - no worries - grab the deal!”

We had a lovely stay, excellent room, close to everything AND helpful staff. There was always someone who could speak English. Breakfast was a plentiful bufftet and nicely presented. We sat outside in the courtyard and it was the perfect start to our vacation.

“Good option for budget traveler.”

Great hotel for the budget traveler. Good location, just a short walk from the metro station. Breakfast was a pleasent surprise. Our room was clean and service was great. Would stay there again for the same price range.

“Los españoles...as old as the ones that were the Conquistadores”

Front desk helpful EXCEPT !!!!...breakfast is good, but the last day we were leaving half hour prior to the opening of the breakfast area. One front desk attendant indicated to us they would leave some fruit so we can have a bite before our departure. To remind the evening staff. Well...the evening MANAGER stated he would charge for ONE apple my wife asked him to leave for us !! Incredibly miserable !!
