I've stayed at the hotel 3 times in the past two months.. I like to go there because it is within walking distance of 3 different metro lines, the city centre and there is a grocery store right across the street. There is an ATM open 24/7 right outside the main door in plain view of the reception. The reception is open 24 hours a day. I know that I can arrive into town and have room, food and money all in about 10 minutes. I was a bit disappointed that I couldn't go to the roof and pool for two of my visits, but the reno has been complete for the past couple of weeks and the deck up there on the thirtieth floor is much nicer than what was there before. When the smog is light, there is a wonderful view of the city and mountains from up there. I've heard some people mention that it's awkward to find the hotel reception which is in Tower B on the second floor, but one must keep in mind that these are also apartments where people live full time. Like many time-share properties, entry can be unusual, but if you frequent these places, you soon get used to expecting different check-in procedures. Some properties just send you a code to open the door of your condo and you're on your own as if you owned the condo. In the case of the BMB, the people at the reception are very friendly and will go out of their way to help you and make you feel comfortable. I will continue to stay here when I come to Santiago.

Although we arrived early the staff welcomed us and made sure our room was ready. The hotel is close to many of the city highlights we visited on the next day's city highlights tour (Plaza de Armas, La Monera, Santa Lucia, and the pedestrian shopping area). The complementary breakfast items were hot when they were supposed to be and well presented.
What a great decision we made to stay at the Hotel Galerias. Everything from the staff, to the decor, to the room, to the pool, to the restaurants was as good as we've ever experienced. No complaints at all.
Hotel was in a great location. Breakfast was included and made a good start to the day.
Room wasn't the cleanest, dust on the floor and a few hairs in the bathroom but not horrible or anything.
Has shuttle to the airport at reasonable price.

Had a great stay at the Mercure Hotel on O'Higgins Blvd (Central Santiago). Hotel is modern and well appointed and is centrally located. Especially enjoyed the front desk staff who were very polite and gave helpful tips on locations to visit. The Brieakfast buffet was very good and enjoyed the service of the staff throughout the hotel. I booked 4 rooms for a total of 6 travelers and all were very happy and satisfied with the accommodations. and of course, we liked the "nice" price we received by booking with Expedia. I selected the Mercure "name" having had good experiences with the chain in Paris, in prior years. Highly recommend this property. Rate it 4.5 stars.
we had the loft apartment and enjoyed the views across the roofs.
we needed a doctor and Caroline, the receptionist, was extremely helpful and we are very grateful to her.
we appreciated the central position so near the underground and the many restaurants nearby.
we recommend the hotel.
It is so nice to stay in an apartment style while on the road. The place was super clean, the kitchen had adequate supplies (pots, pans, dishes) to cook, and overall it was soo comfortable!
The location is pretty amazing. you are a quick walk away from Bellavista, Lastarria, Mercado Central...etc.
I would highly recommend staying here.
