“Good hotel, but so far from the city”

I checked in really well, a really good and confortable room, clean, good space. The problem is it's far from the city. The hotel is at the Santa Iria highway so at the night you can hear the trucks an cars even when the windows are reforced. The restaurant is good and not too pricy. The price is good for the hotel (room), but for the same price you can get something similar near from Lisbon's center.

Area recommendations

At Santa Irira the neighborhood is not nice, is far from everything. I can recommend maybe VIP executive hotel but nearest from Lisbon Center.

Getting there

The airport is inside the city, so you shouldn't take a cab. Just ask at airport info which bus you must take to your hotel, the bus is 2.75 eur, aproximately, is cheap and if you don't have many lugagges is a good chose.

“Good Hotel to get your head down but not for tourism!”

Clean modern hotel, good facilities for the traveller or business user.out of town so not a good location for tourism, and difficult to find without a sat nav and printout of an up to date local map.

“Need improvement in access.”

The Hotel is almost perfect, but it is not convenient for tourists, it has not good access from downtown Lisbon, or the airport. For executive who rent a car Santa Iria has the best cost-benefit rate.

“Schlecht erreichbar, laut, sonst sehr schön”

Das Hotel liegt ca. 30 min Vorortbahnfahrt im Nordosten im Industriegebiet, der Bahnhof ist in ca 10 min Fußweg erreichbar, allerdings muss man auf der belebten Nationalstr. gehen und über Leitplanke und Geröll klettern, kaum Fußsteig. Die Züge fahren alle 30 min. ( mit Lisboa - Card allerdings umsonst). Durch Nationalstrasse, Bahnlinie und Flughafennähe sehr laut!! Keine direkte Verbindung zum Flughafen, Taxi ca. 18 €.

Area recommendations

Lissabon Zentrum (Rossio), hier gibt es mehrere preiswerte Hotels, oder entlang der Küste nach Westen, Belem oder bis Cascais, gute Verkehrsanbindungen.

Dining

Italienisches Restaurant und Eisdiele mit Life Musik auf der Terrasse des Aufzugs Santa Justa, toller Blick über Lissabon, zivile Preise.
