The Camino Real Brand is famous in Mexico so when I saw the deal I jumped on it. Overall its a nice hotel. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff is just ok. Not the staff of a true 5 star hotel. The location is in a business area so after work it dies down. Two malls very close and other hotels within walking distance for more options on restaurants and night caps. All in all its worth the deal on Expedia. I would not pay full price but I would stay again for the same deal.
I made my reservation through Expedia, which on itself was a good experience since the procedure for booking was straight forward. When I arrived all the paperwork was ready and there were no surprises concerning pricing, charges, or the like. The "room experience"is quite something as the design is different from most hotels that I have been to: very tall ceiling, interesting color combination with wall and ceiling in black and some floors in white. The layout of the room is quite different as well, with the shower (very nice indeed) at one end and the watercloset at the other. Overall, very good price value proposition for the room.
Best hotel in Santa Fe. Feels like Galeria in Houston. Shopping Ctr, movie theaters, restaurants, shops, pharmacy, Starbucks and best grocery store Chedraui in the mall. Nice gym on top floor. Pool deck next to gym is also beautiful. Breakfast in the lobby is one of the best or try Peppone inside the mall. Staff is great, Karla at the front desk is wonderful. Use Uber!
On this trip I was working a trade show at the Bancomer Expo. The Westin is walking distance to the Expo Center as well as to local shops and restaurants. there was no need for a rental car in my case as everything I needed I could walk to within minutes. The hotel itself was marvelous as the comfort, service and food at the restaurants was excellent.
