Excellent Stay in Santa Fe

Posted 28-Jul-2014
My family of 5 stayed here for 1 night and we thoroughly enjoyed it. The room decor was very modern, and the beds were excellent. The included breakfast was awesome, and the overall look and feel of the hotel was great. My only con is that we accidentally left some personal belongings in our room and called the next day, but the staff could not find the items.

The hotel was nicely kept, the shuttle to downtown was convenient. The staff was friendly and polite, especially Karmin. Plenty of restaurants nearby.

Convenient and Nice

Posted 18-Jul-2014
Pros: The staff, the room size and cleanliness, and amenities.
Location: The hotel is about 15 minutes from Old Town, but very close to several chain restaurants as well as unique and quality eateries.
The hotel is a bit far from the Old Town area, but otherwise was a good place to stay. The staff were pleasant and efficient, the room was modern and clean, and the amenities were of good quality. The free breakfast buffet was pretty standard. Internet was easy to access in the room, but the "business center" was just an alcove with two PCs and a printer. I would stay there again.

Cons: Need trash cans in several areas outside - not just by the front doors. I always pick up after my dogs and had to walk all the way around the building
I travel with 2 small dogs. Finding a pet friendly hotel that is wonderful is rare. Especially at a reasonable price. Most hotels that accept pets are very run down, smelly and you can't wait to get out - as long as it's clean, you live with it. Tough luck for you since you have dogs. The curb appeal and check in area of the Santa Fe Hyatt was very nice but I've learned the hard way that the rooms in most pet friendly hotels aren't as nice as the lobby/check in area. What a surprise when I saw my room! Modern, comfortable, clean couch and chairs, clean carpet, nice bath area - and NO peeling paint in the shower area. No smell, bright colored drapes and bedding. New high tech TV with plug ins and free Wi-Fi. Good sized fridge and microwave. Starbucks in the lobbey and 24/7 quick menu; you call and then pick up in lobby. I throughly enjoyed my stay and would have stayed longer if I hadn't been on a schedule. Have dogs? Stop here.

Nice and clean hotel in Santa Fe

Posted 05-Jul-2014
Hyatt Place was nice and clean, with a very friendly staff! The room was spacious and met all of our needs. Hotel had a nice pool and comfy beds. Free breakfast in the morning, and free wi-fi. I would most definitely stay there again when we look for a hotel in Santa Fe.

Excellent, clean hotel.

Pros: The room size and set up was a plus. Also had an excellent breakfast selection that varied from day to day.
Cons: The pool could use some updating, and each time we went to the pool, there was never enough towels.
Location: We visited the plaza, museums and art galleries in the center of town. There are also some excellent New Mexican restaurants close by.
This hotel is about 20 minutes from the Santa Fe Plaza. The staff is exceptionally helpful and pleasant. The room was well accommodated with a nice seating area with a sofa bed that my son loved. It also has a very large swiveling flat screen TV. The beds and linens were comfortable, and the shower had excellent water pressure. The indoor pool and spa were a little on the small side, but seemed clean. There also is a small, but efficient fitness room with treadmills, an elliptical, fee weights, and ice cold water.
