“Wonderful Place!”

The Wine Valley does not disappoint - the rooms are clean, the locaiton is very central, and the atmosphere is friendly and warm. There is a wine reception int the lobby each evening where guests mingle byt the fireplace - this was very unexpected and very welcome as I was in SOlvang on business by myself. I am excired to plan another trip-this time for pleasure- so that I can bring my husband here! Loved it!!

Christamas time - I was enchanted with the spiriti of this town and how charming it all is with twinkling white lites!

“This is my time traveler”

My husband, my mom and I had a great time in Solvang. The Wine Valley Inn staff is very friendly and helpful. They have wine tasting in the early evening, down by the lobby. I will definitely stay there every time I go to Solvang.

Area recommendations
I you want a good steak and entertainment, you have to try A J Spurs in Buellton. A must stop for my husband and I every time to go to Solvang.

“Good Location”

We spent 2 nights at this hotel in November 11. The hotel is in a very quiet area in Solvang, but in easy walking distance into the town. The room was very clean and well maintained. The staff at the reception desk were very helpful. Definately make use of the wine bar, open from 4-8pm, it is very good.

Area recommendations
Steaks at the Hitchin Post 2 were excellent, it a must go if you saw the film 'Sideways'. A number of winneries are in easy driving distance, particulary in the Santa Ynex area.

“would go back again”

Had a nice time, would definitely stay again but next time get one of the rooms with fireplace. Pleasant employees, and breakfast area was nice and clean. Only down side is for your bottom side is that the toilet is elongated but the seat cover was round, took some time to get use to. Oh. And water pressure is terrible, unless you like to bath under a trickling water fountain.

“picturesque”

comfortable beds,very helpful and cheerful staff.A healthful variety for continental breakfast. We really enjoyed our stay and will return.Pretty grounds with fish ponds.

“Not the best value for price”

The hotel is quaint and located centrally and within walking distance to lots of shops and eateries in solvang. Our room was unfortunately not too impressive. There were cobwebs on the walls and the television was very dated. It was quiet during the evening but in the early morning hours there was a lot of noise with grounds workers, cleaning crew, rolling carts and foot traffic- not to mention the ice machine was right outside our room and was very noisy. I'm not sure if it was just our room location that was bad but I probably would not recommend staying here unless you rise early.

“Great girls getaway! or romantic retreat!”

The hotel is VERY charming! Would love to go back & stay in a private cottage with my husband. ADORABLE cottages! The rooms were very nice for our girls getaway too!

We at at AJ Spurs in Buellton. Fabulous steak house. The second night we ate in Santa Ynez at Carlito's (mexican food) Another AMAZING place to eat!! Both of these towns are 5 minute drives from Solvang.

“Nice place to stop on our way south to LA.”

The Wine Valley Inn was the second stop of our 2 day trip down the PCH (Pacific Coast Highway). Nice location. Very comfortable. When we checked in, I requested a quiet room near the back and without any hassle, our wish was granted. Rooms are on the small side, we had 2 double beds, but it was only going to be for one night. Could have easliy stayed a couple of more nights. Breakfast was very good. Free parking and Wifi. Everything (shopping, food and entertainment) all within walking distance. Nice liitle town. Thank you Wine Vally Inn.

“Lovely hotel with very reasonable price.”

Fantastic bed and high-quality bedding! A great night's sleep. Excellent location. Could've used a few more towels. Other than that it was perfect. Good value.
