“Hot Water”

We did not have very much hot water. Two people could nto take a shower in the same morning because the hot water would run out before the first person could even get done with there shower. The front door did not close tightley. You could see the sunlight in the cracks.

The hotel was convenient and within walking distance of all Solvang shopping and dining areas. It was clean and quaint. We did not use any of the pool or breakfast amenities so I can not rate those, but it appeared nice. Check in and out was effortless.

“Nice hotel in a town with a soul”

The hotel as nice and clean, located nearby the pedestrian area of the town. Good experience. We haven't tried the pool due to the weather but it looked nice too. In short: it was relatively affordable with a good quality, and it was quiet as well. I recommend it.

“What a terrible experience!”

I have never had this terrible reception. I said "how are you? " The staff said, "Your ID and credit card!" I asked the direction to my room, he just showed me the map. I said "thank you" He said nothing. At night, I tried being nice to one more time because I was in my happy trip mood. I said, "hi" again, he ignored. I was like"mmm maybe he didn't hear me" I said one more time and he said, " Ok" What kind of receptionist is he? He may know who I am if he's reading this review. The hotel is remodeled and I liked the new bedding set. But there were bread crumbs on the sheet and the sink stopper and the bathtub stopper were broken and there was lots of hairs in the drain. I really did not like it but I did not want to deal with that man so I just went to bed. Solvang is a very cute village but expensive. But the people there do not appreciate the visitors who spend money there.

“it was good”

i needed a hotel for one night the price was reasonable in relationship to other hotels in solvang. the room was nice and close to where we had to go the next day. a reasonable breakfast was provided. it was good.

“Kronborg Inn - nice affordable old place”

the rate was good. location is right in middle of solvang so walking distance to everything. hotel needs a little facework: the closet was broken and no security lock on front door. but the poolside access through a back sliding door makes up for it. heated outdoor pool. staff (only saw 1 reg clerk and 1 maid in two days) were very nice and helfpul.

“Proper STAR Rating”

This has been remodeled. WHAT they have remodeled is nice. What they have NOT remodeled reveals it's age. On par with what I expected. Room, A/C, bed, and linens were quite nice.

“Getaway with my husband”

The hotel was clean, and comfy. It was within walking distance of shopping and food. We went at the end of October. The weather was great and it wasn't packed with tourists.
