“Excellent hotel”

This is one of the finest boutique hotels we visited on our trip from LA to San Francisco. The hotel is well situated with a very friendly and helpful staff. The hotel and rooms are Spanish inspired--as is much of Santa Barbara. They offer wine tasting in the late afternoons. Breakfast, afternoon water or tea, internet and parking was included.

The staff is exceedingly friendly, courteous and helpful.. Charming rooms with great bathrooms, Fireplace & sitting room. we stayed in a ground floor junior suite with private terrace overlooking the pool. Free parking , DVD Movies & popcorn for your room.Close to restaurants , shopping and short walk to beaches. Highly recommended!

“Excellent hotel experience”

We were very satisfied with our one night stay at the Inn of the Spanish Garden. All staff were very eager to help, and the room was clean, and very impressive in its style. We loved the fireplace and the comfortable king-size bed. The breakfast included in the room price was excellent. We enjoyed being just blocks away from downtown with all of its stores and restaurants. Can't wait to stay here again!

“Would return in a heartbeat”

We had never been to Santa Barbara before and chose the Inn of the Spanish Garden after a brief internet search. Not knowing what to expect, we were very pleased when we were shown our room. It was beautiful and impeccably clean, with a nice private patio. The property itself had a pretty courtyard with tables where we could sit outside and have a glass of wine. The included breakfast was also very good, with all the basic continental choices as well as two types of quiche and fresh-squeezed orange juice. The hotel is a bit of a stroll from the beach and downtown area of Santa Barbara, but that was fine for us, since we enjoyed walking around the neighborhoods. While walking around, we looked at the hotels down by the beach and were so glad we had chosen the Inn of the Spanish Garden. I would highly recommend it and will return next time we are in Santa Barbara.
