Chantico Inn offers 22 air-conditioned accommodations, which are accessible via exterior corridors and feature fireplaces and minibars. Balconies open to mountain or pool views. “Character in the heart of Ojai”
This is definitely a charming hidden treasure. The rooms are lovely and the staff was very helpful. Great customer service!
“Mediocre”
Only had us down for first night, out of two, of our reservation. Mediocre, at best ,breakfast. Good location and acceptable room quality.
“Easy walk to Ojai's center”
Our room was fairly quiet, clean, comfortable and attractive. We enjoyed the swimming pool and spa. The breakfast was so so. The Inn's big attraction for us was the short walk to downtown Ojai where we had activities going on during the day. The large flat screen TV in the room worked well, but not the remote. There were three mirrors in room. The one over the sink tilted towards the floor. The small one over the short dresser could only be used while sitting on the bed. The largest mirror could only be accessed by standing in the bathtub. Those were minor inconveniences. We would go back.
“A stinky Valentine”
Outside of the hotel looks nice. Inside the king size room is very small and no closet. it stinks. the window coverings were broken. They only have one cleaning person. At night, if you are the last one in. There is no parking space. They have a cheap clothing rack on wheels with a lovely assortment of hangers. Nice view of the mountains.
