We had a great stay at the inn. The room was big and comfortable. The bed and pillows were nice and firm and comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful and the Chad's Cafe recommendation for breakfast was awesome.

Great hotel for a great price in a great location!! Very clean with a comfortable "feel". Staff was pleasant and accommodating. Was worried about noise because the walls are thin, but they have a strict noise policy and it was no problem. The location is amazing... walked to dinner on the wharf, and to breakfast on the main drag and to the beach. Highly recommend!

It is close to the Harbor. Pretty quiet. Comfy beds. Nice kitchen. Walked to several restaurants for dinner. Park across the street.

A beautiful hotel, with Spanish Architectural feel and quaint spirit. I'd love to go back. It would have been nice if the TV worked, but it was late, and we needed our sleep. The area around the hotel is wonderful, the pier, restaurants, State Street shops, and the ships on the horizon. We love Santa Barbara!

Great place the family suite was perfect for our needs and the staff was super friendly and helpful. The family suite was better equipped than most overpriced airbnb's had eveything to make dinner and breakfast we ate in a couple fo times. Easy access off highway and to many shopping points. We went up to Goleta to hit the big box stores for some food. Can be a little noisy due to traffic at peak times but for the price and convenience I'd rather stay/recommend here than ocean/main street facing suites and higher prices that hear auto and pedestrian traffic and even worse. Stearns wharf just a short walk away. Highly recommend this hotel.Loved it would stay again in a heartbeat.

We've stayed several times at The Castillo and have never been disappointed. Service is friendly and efficient. The rooms are spacious and clean. Parking is free. Easy walking location to the train station and restaurants.

Winter Get Away
We stayed five days, our longest of three stays here. Great room, decent sized, excellent bed and bathroom. Great shower with plenty of hot water, 11 minute walk to Brophy Bros. Walking distance to downtown, .75 - 1.5 miles each way. Good base for our trips around the area.

It was dated, but clean with a comfortable bed. It had a filtered water faucet in the bathroom, which was an unexpected luxury in an otherwise non-luxurious environment. No problems. My wife and I enjoyed ourselves.

stayed here for one night and had a very nice experience. Front staff was very friendly. The room was clean and bed/linens were comfortable! Towels were soft! My only suggestion would be add a small microwave. The location was perfect and very walkable to the pier and restaurants.

An ok budget inn near main attractions…
It was decent, short distance from State St, pier, and beach. Rooms are a bit outdated and in-room AC wasn’t the best. Staff was friendly though.
