“Little Gem”

on first impression i was a little disappointed by the motel appearance of the Inn but once we were inside the room that vanished, The room was large, comfortable, spotless and felt like a quality hotel room. We really appreciated the complimentary breakfast which was more than adequate.

Ojai is a joy! Great shops, restaurants and the people are really friendly and welcoming.

“I was surprised”

I was pleasantly surprised when i opened the door, it didn't look like a 2 star to me it was up there with a lot of other hotels that i have stayed at that are rated 4 star. The staff where friendly and welcoming. it was very quite you couldn't really here other guests, and the hotel had many if not all rooms full due to a conference in town. I would defiantly stay there again.

“It works”

Casa Ojai makes a point of conserving resources - with reduced flow showers and toilets and giving guests the options to decide how often towels and sheets will be replaced. It's less than a mile from the center of Ojai, walking distance.

Area recommendations
The center of town has lots of shops, but it's worth the drive east of town to Meditation Mount.

“My home away from home”

I really enjoy the coziness of Casa Ojai; the bed was surprisingly comfortable and that's coming from someone who is quite finicky about hotel beds. I normally stay at Hampton Inn for that reason... The room was extememly clean and the view of the surrounding mountains is an added bonus. I do have to say that the bathroom is a bit small for my liking but it was bearable. Be sure to enjoy the jacuzzi during the evening hours when the temperature drops... No premium cable channels but if your in Ojai you shouldn't be locked up indoors watching television.. you can do that at home.

“Casa Ojai - not the place to stay at if you want to be in Santa Barbara”

The hotel is probably fine if you're in Ojai for the golf course. Alas, you may be there because Expedia gave you this choice when you searched for hotels in Santa Barbara and you never bothered to check how long it takes to get from one place to the other. You should count on one hour of driving or more, depending on a number of things such as day v. night, foggy or not, where in SB you need to be, etc. Clean room, with good daily service. There was a fridge in the room. The TV was an old CRT model from back in the 80s. Breakfast was included in the service, but was very basic: hard boiled eggs, bagels, do-it-yourself oatmeal, coffee and teas of good quality.

“Clean and comfortable”

The room was clean and ready for us when we arrived, a comfortable size. The only down side was that there were not enough towels in the room and also at breakfast which was outside by the pool, people were smoking and we had to leave and go back to our room. A good experience overall and I would recommend this hotel.

“Great hotel to stay in Ojai!”

I'm not sure why Casa Ojai Inn only has 2/5 stars, my family and I were SOOOOO happy with this place! The rooms were spactious, the pool area was beautiful & well-maintained. The staff was so friendly & helpful. I would definitely recommend this hotel. Cons: Maids were YELLING outside our beroom in the morning Jacuzzi could have been warmer Breakfast selectio nwas limted Pros: Check-In Cookies were GOOOOOOD! Front desk staff was super nice & friendly They have bicycles that you can rent out Spactious guest rooms Beautiful & new pool area In-room fridge AC in rooms was fast & great

“a good place to crash”

This is a great place to crash when visiting Ojai area. It is well maintained and clean. The staff is very friendly. The room had a mini fridge, hair dryer and coffee maker.
