“Superb hotel”

This is a lovely small hotel in a secluded location in the lovely countryside of Gallura overlooking a lake. This was our second visit, and we would happily return again. Salvatore (owner) and his staff are extremely friendly, and the food in the restaurant is excellent. Lovely swimming pool, and about 40 mins drive to great beaches.

Best to visit in early or late summer.

“Very impressed”

Lovely hotel in magnificent location. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and coped well with our lack of Italian. A perfect 'get away from it all', with good food and a relaxed atmosphere it would be hard to beat.

“Einsamkeit am See, bella vista”

Der Ausblick auf den Lago di Liscia ist einmalig schön und entschädigt für einige vorhandene Mängel. Wer Einsamkeit sucht und einen Mietwagen hat, ist hier noch gut aufgehoben. Wir waren viel unterwegs und als Ausgangspunkt für Unternehmungen fanden wir den Standort ok. Zwischen 22.00 und 23.00 Uhr begibt man sich zur Ruhe. Dieses Hotel ist ausschließlich für Paare ohne Kinder zu empfehlen. Ein Gourmet sollte man nicht sein. Das Frühstück ist einfach (nach deutschem Standard 1-2 Sterne) und insbesondere die Auswahl ist dürftig. Einzig der Kaffee ist akzeptabel. Das Servicepersonal ist freundlich und bemüht. Das Abendessen ist deutlich besser, die Preise hierfür ok. Etwas mehr Auswahl wäre auch hier nett gewesen. Die Zimmer sind von der Einrichtung ganz nett, jedoch eher 3-Sterne. Die Größe des Zimmers war ausreichend, Betten gut und nicht durchgelegen, der Kleiderschrank zu klein und die Größe des Fernsehers mini. Sauberkeit ist ok. Es gibt einen kleinen Pool, der ausreicht, um mal einen Nachmittag dort zu verbringen, allerdings muss man damit rechnen, dass dort auch die Angestellten mit Freunden baden! Ist uns sogar 2x passiert! Im ganzen Hotel (außer Restaurant) ist es nicht gestattet, etwas zu essen. Poolservice gibt es nicht. Getränke dürfen nur aus dem Restaurant stammen oder der Minibar entnommen werden. Die Minibarpreise entsprechen einem 5-Sterne Haus.

“Volltreffer”

Gut geführtes Hotel, einsam und romentisch gelegen in wundervoller Natur. Ideal für alle, die abseits des Touristentrubels Urlaub machen wollen Sehr zuvorkommendes und freundliches Personal, Sehr gute Küche mit lokalen Gerichten in exzellenter Zubereitung. “hotel valkarana-un'oasi di tranquillità”

siamo stati al Valkarana agli inizi di giugno.Cercavamo un'oasi di pace e tranquillità e l'abbiamo trovata, anche se non proprio vicino al mare.L'hotel è situato in riva ad un lago e gode di una vista spettacolare. Di certo non è comodissimo arrivarci e non è cosigliato a chi voglia uscire ogni sera , ma l'ottima cucina del ristorante e la cordialita' del personale valgono gia' da sole per decidere di soggiornarvi. consigliato a chiunque voglia staccare la spina dai ritmi frenetici della città e ....alle "buone forchette".

“Romantische Lage und tolles Hotel”

Insgesamt eine wunderschöne Anlage, die leider etwas versteckt liegt. Nachteil an dem Hotel ist die fehlende Verbindung zum Mobilfunknetz sowie die Anfahrt, die sich über lange und enge, teils schlechte Strassen ergibt. Aber der Service sowie die Behandlung, die man als Gast dort erfährt, sind sehr gut.

“Uniek gelegen hotel met gastvrije eigenaar en heerlijk eten !”

Geweldig gelegen hotel. Vanuit ons bed uitzicht op het stuwmeer. We hebben een heerlijke vakantie gehad bij Salvator. Kleinschalig hotel met persoonlijke service. Lekker eten in het restaurant. Volgend jaar absoluut weer !

“Ruhiges Hotel in besonderer Lage”

Das ValKarana ist ein sehr nettes, sehr ruhig gelegenes Hotel mit ausgesprochen freundlichem und kompetentem Personal. Das Hotel liegt völlig allein an einem Speichersee in den Bergen westlich von Olbia. Wer Ruhe und Entspannung sucht ist hier richtig. Trotz der abgelegenen Lage eignet sich das Hotel sehr gut als "Basis" um den Norden der Insel (und besonders dessen Weinanbaugebiete) zu erkunden. Das Frühstück ist für italienische Verhältnisse wirklich reichhaltig und wird gerne durch Rühreier etc. (kostenlos) ergänzt. Das Angebot des Restaurants ist ebenfalls sehr gut. Unabhängig davon sollte man aber unbedingt das Restaurant "La Pitraia" in der Ortsmitte besuchen (Tipp: Degustationsmenue)!

“Jederzeit gerne wieder!”

Kann empfohlen werden. Sehr sympathisches Hotel, total freundlicher Wirt. Gutes Frühstück und Abendessen. Zimmer waren ebenfalls gut, etwas sauberer hätte es sein dürfen (aber ich bin penibel). Liegt etwas im Landesinneren, Fahrt an die Küste dauert ca. 35 min. Alles in allem ein sehr gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis, eines der besten das uns auf dieser Reise begegnet ist.
