“Super comfortable bed”

When I arrived I was slightly concerned that the building appeared slightly tatty and that the windows were single glazed, which is pretty unusual these days. Against that, there was a warm welcome and efficient check in, and the room itself was very nice. The bed was particularly conmfortable and I had an excellent sleep which was my main reason for staying in the hotel. The food in the restaurant was very nice, but maybe a little over complicated. One final minor complaint was that there was no TV remote in the room and there seemed to be no other way to make the TV work. All in all, this was a perfectly satisfactory stay, but with room for improvement.

“Beautiful individual hotel in excellent location”

Excellent location, 5 minutes from the M6 but in beautiful rural settings. The hotel is very clean and nicely decorated. On arrival I had to move rooms as water had leaked in through the bedroom window (there had been torrential rain two days before) but the staff were extremely apologetic and transferred me to a new room promptly. I didn't eat in the hotel so cannot comment on the quality of food, but the bar area and restaurant looked nice. Overall a lovely individual hotel with friendly staff. I would definately stay there again.
