My staff and I were in Milan working on the Expo2015 and I have to say that the UNA Scandinavia was perfect. The staff is extremely helpful and accommodating. The only small issues I have are with the Internet which is blocked for applications like DropBox, so it can become a hindrance to business travelers who need strong connectivity to their work. The Breakfast could also use a slight tweak as I found it to be below standard of what I have experienced in Italy at other properties of this caliber. The café con late is undrinkable (hotel instant coffee) stick to the cappuccino and espresso for that second cup.
The market held every Tuesday and Saturday in front of the Hotel is fantastic but be aware that it may hinder your arrival or departure. The supermarket directly across from the Hotel is also quite wonderful. It has a well stocked prepared meal section which was useful for long work days. The area has many great restaurants within walking distance catering to the Milanese as well as being very friendly to transient guests in this great city.
This is the second time we have been to this hotel and it did not disappoint. The staff where so friendly and helpful. The location is great near to the centrer but also in an area where there are enough restaurants that you don't have to go back into the centre if you don't want to. The breakfast was lovely and the staff where so helpful and by the end of our staff the catering staff knew my order and would deliver it before I sat down which was really nice.
Great value. Wonderful room. Helpful staff. Very clean. Close to Metro (de Angeli) and reasonable walk to MiCo. Easy to get to Duomo on the metro. Would absolutely stay here again. Only difficulty I had was with finding it. The only sign visible from the street is about half the size of a business card on a lockbox. Look for the address number "30" very close to the corner of Bezzi and Gracchi.
Staff very friendly, avg hotel for Europe, good breakfast. We had a 3 person stay, the full bed and single were separated by rooms which was different, and each room a bit small, but tuned out fine as my daughter probably needed the space anyway since we had been traveling so much. Room was quiet and adequate .
Located in the north-west and originally established in the 1920s, Fiera Milano is Italy’s most important exhibition centre. Now revitalised and set around a central park, some 80 trade fairs are held here annually including the all-important fashion collections. A circular bus service links all entrance gates with Amendola Fiera metro station. Frequent shuttle buses also run from Linate airport.
