Loved the hotel once you get there but there is nothing really nearby so you definitely need a car. Uber is cheap about $3-$5 to get a ride one way to the nearest city for food

The manager was very friendly and informative. The rooms are rustic but very clean and neat. No AC during the day can be a bit warm but temperatures cool at night making sleeping very comfortable.

Love the seclusion with amazing views of mountains & Mynah birds singing in the morning. Gustavo was a great host, bringing us cold beers & ordering pizza for delivery, since we got in late. Delicious CR breakfast included. We could easily have stayed longer.

The property was very peaceful and tranquil. We did not like that pur front door opened to gravel. No immediate outsidecspace to enjoy the view. Sitting in a gravel parking lot was not to our liking. The pool was wonderful!

Great stay with an amazing view. So many birds to enjoy watching. The cabin was comfortable and a very nice breakfast served each morning.

Our stay at mango valley was idyllic and peaceful. javier, the manager of the hotel, was kind and courteous. I loved our time here and wished we could have stayed longer. this was a great place for my husband and I to visit together.

The property is located in the middle of coffee plantations, which is really nice. Breakfast was ok but slightly expensive ($9 as of Aug 2022). The cabin has one main room (bedroom and kitchenette) equipped with basic kitchen appliances, the bathroom has a shower with hot water. **Expedia VIP Reward Perks are NOT honored in this property, so watch out for that**

The property is small and very beautiful. It is away from the city enough to escape the city noise and busy life. The staff was great and attentive. The rooms are cozy and provide a great viewing area of the surrounding land and mountains. I would highly recommend if you are looking for a quiet and secluded get away.

This place is a new favorite for us. Planning on going back. The inn keeper was SUPER HELPFUL. The place is beautiful. The view is astounding.

This property is remote and gorgeous! It is small and very unique to the country. The staff was attentive and so helpful. Javier was a godsend for helping us order take out and providing a tour guide that surpassed all our expectations. Costa Rica is amazing and we would definitely stay at Mango Valley again

This is a beautiful place, the staff is amazing, clean, with everything you need. The view is stunning!!!!!Javier and Adrian were really nice to us. You won't regret it. Totally recommend it.

Beautiful! It was located near the top of the hill. The view to the valley was splendid! The environment was perfect for a vacation. It was quiet, the staff was very nice! It would be nicer if the wind was not blowing hard at night while we stayed there in early January but we were told windy is typical at that time of the year. However it does not bother us at all because the wind usually went down in the early morning. With a little breeze the weather was perfect!

Javier the Proprietor was exceptionally helpful and welcoming. The service for breakfast was lightning fast and very good and fresh. The cottages are spacious and quite beautifully built. My only complaint was that the hot water in the shower was not very hot.

This place is a hidden gem. If you want to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city and enjoy the peace and quiet, this is the place for you. It is only 15-20 minutes from Grecia and within an hour from many tourist attractions. It is a bit off the beaten path, but it is worth the drive. The rooms were very clean, the breakfast was basic but good and the staff were very friendly and helpful. And the view from the rooms is absolutely amazing.

Nowhere better in the Grecia area.
Having lived in this area for many years we have stayed at all the local hotels and B and B's so can give an honest opinion regard Mango. Just the best all round. Fresh, clean and quiet along with so many other points including the great breakfasts and the swimming pool. Well done Hotel Mango Valley, truly deserves 10++.

This was a very friendly place with a gorgeous property and pool, the room was nice and the breakfast situation was great. The room smelled like it had been smoked in during the past but other than that its a very wonderful place. And they gave us a local bag of coffee when we checked out, very friendly.

A lovely place run by lovely people! Do get one of the 3 cabins; the view is absolutely amazing. I loved seeing the hummingbirds in the morning. Javier was fantastic! He's more like a friend than just the manager. He always has a friendly smile. I definitely recommend Mango Valley!

the view from our room was spectacular. room was comfortable, appreciated small fridge and cooktop. breakfast was very good every day. lots of good advice from Javier on sights in the area, also helped us order delivered food on the first night
